Mike of plumbing 101 showed up on time and did an amazing job. I thought i knew what valve was leaking however Mike found it was a different valve. He made the repairs and the leak is gone. He was very professional and I appreciate his service. I would recommend Plumbing 101 to anyone needing their service.

Technician was very professional and fixed my issues in a timely manner. He was able to asses and fix an issue that a previous plumber did not take care of which cause a water leak in my kitchen. I will certainly call this company for any future needs.

Plumbing 101 re plumbed our 100 year old house this year. We came in cold when we called Mike to bid out our place. His employees are professional and timely in their work. Pricing is fair and we are very happy with the work. We will continue to use them in the future if needed. We absolutely recommend Plumbing 101. Thank you for a job well done.

They were available in a reasonable time frame and were prompt at the appointed time. Experienced plumbers who have real knowledge. The problem was resolved quickly.

I used them to fix a plumbing issue on a house I just purchased. They were very knowledge, reasonably priced and did and fixed exactly what they said they'd do. highly recommend using them

These guys are amazing, I had a plugged kitchen sink could not use my sinks or use my dishwasher, most of the plumbers I called left messages, only got one call back and he was booked for a month. These guys were working on a neighbors house so I called to see if it was possible to swing by when they were done, I lucked out these guys were ahead of schedule and came by fixed my plugged sink really fast even though the plug was about 40 ft down. I was impressed, plus they gave me advice on what to put down my drain that had enzyme that would help keep my drain clear. I would definitely use these guys again.

The work was fine, but they are way, way, way overpriced, unless the average hourly rate is over $400. They did not provide a breakdown of charges. Inquire ahead of time their hourly rate and an itemized estimation prior to hiring.

I really wanted to like them; it's family-run and it's important to me to support family business vs corporations. Faith runs the office while Mike supervises a team in the field.
It was basic: unhook several sinks prior to counter replacement, then re-connect plumbing with new parts as needed. This incl. installing our new faucets on the three sinks, and turning the DW back on. They also installed a new toilet. Well.....
They had to return because the dishwasher had no water when we ran it. (They forgot to turn valves back on). They then had to return because the new toilet was leaking (Mike TOLD ME it wasn't tightened down enough). They then had to return because 1 of 2 new sinks were leaking (it also wasn't tightened down enough). We had multiple guys in, so it wasn't just one guy who made all the mistakes. I did request Mike only as he was the owner and I thought that would mean it would be done correctly the second time around.
Both Faith and Mike are very friendly and of course didn't charge us for any of the return visits to correct the issues, but it was frustrating to spend a grand and have 3 callbacks from the original job.
I thought it was behind me when I needed a plumber again. I thought ""maybe it was just a bad time-I'll call them again"". Faith set an appointment 3 weeks away, right before Christmas and as it wasn't a real emergency, I waited. The day and time came and passed. No show/No call. I call and there's just a message of a family emergency on their answering machine. I leave message, no callback until well after Christmas from Faith who said specifically ""they had a medical emergency in Portland"" and to call her if I still needed help.
So.... I'm just over giving multiple chances and if you don't like multiple call-backs for stupid isht maybe you'll think twice. (And yes, I did send homemade jelly home with Mike their first visit out. That's me...I typically give gifts to new people who visit my home...call me crazy! Lock me up.). And yes, when I am frustrated at having to callback multiple times I am also human and get frustrated, rarely to the point of crying, but if Faith wants to expose that human moment then, YES- they had me literally SOBBING, SHOUTING on the phone. I'm shocked (but not) this or any vendor would even bring up the fact they made their customer get to the breaking point that they were sobbing. They're the only vendor who's caused me to break down. Did I have other personal things going on concurrently? Sure. Health things? Absolutely. I'm not here to try to curry favor or get sympathy, jfk. It's a review. Take it or leave it...some people cannot take any criticism and learn from it. I take my experiences and learn from them.

When I bought my new house (which was 18 yrs old), the 'inspector' I used failed to inform me that the plumbing was all aging CPVC plastic pipe - which usually becomes brittle and fails after about 20 years. My own research revealed many horror stories about CPVC pipe. So, rather than wait and risk serious water damage, I decided to have it all replaced ASAP.
But all the plumbers I talked to either didn't want to tackle the job or were booked out months in advance. Until I called Mike Worthington at Plumbing 101.
Mike came out, quickly grasped the situation and worked me into his schedule the following week. It was a big job, but the Plumbing 101 crew re-plumbed the entire house in a couple of days with state-of-the-art type-C PEX pipe, with a minimum of disruption. They replaced all the old shut-off valves & water supply lines with new stainless steel lines, and also plumbed-in a new washer & dryer, a utility sink & installed a new kitchen faucet - all for considerably less than I had anticipated. So, no more plumbing worries!
I would not hesitate to recommend Plumbing 101 for any job, large or small.

I have had 2 experiences with Plumbing 101 and have been impressed both times with the professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, quality of work and the reasonable prices. I would recommend them to anyone.
