While visiting my Mother who lives in Arcata, a plumbing problem occurred. I called Plumberman. They were able to respond the same day that I called. Two men showed up and provided an estimate which seemed reasonable for the work that needed to be done. They explained what needed to be done and then proceeded to do it in a reasonable amount of time. The job contained a few challenges due to the age of the plumbing, but the end result was great. The job involved replacing the shut off valves, hoses under the kitchen sink, and connection line to the dishwasher. Ultimately the cost of the job was less than the estimate. I will call them again if other plumbing needs arise. Very satisfied with the work and how pleasant the men were to interact with.

Everything is perfect from start to finish! Years ago, his father was the one to call. the next generation is taking this on. What a team!

We had a leak in our water main to our business. After digging it up, I had to shut-off the water since when it was on it was quickly filling up the hole and would have caused flooding. Zak was scheduled to come fix the pipe the next morning, but after calling and telling him what was happening he was able to find the time to come and do the repair in the afternoon helping us out a lot. He worked quickly and did a great job. Thanks!

Hello? Anybody out there? First they forgot to come by at the scheduled time, so we gave them a day or two to think about it. Called back and they were surprised no one showed up (with all the excuses of busyness) set a new appointment, he shows up and thinks it a total re-pipe... we had a leaky faucet... said he would get back to us because he was going on vacation. We fixed it ourselves. No show and saved us a bunch!

He also sold me some good quality parts for reattaching my toilet that I didn't even think to ask for which probably saved a future call and a lot of hassle. This is local family-owned business and Zak (and his father before him) have provided great service. However recently I had some work done by Matt and some aspects of his work were not satisfactory. He disconnected hoses to install a new garden faucet and reconnected them in a way that left them the connections dripping worse than before he started. He left quickly without communicating about it or giving me a chance to check out the work. When I called to ask him to come back, he was angry and extremely rude. Watch out for Matt.

When I called, the sympathetic lady on the phone had to check to see if he could fit me in that day, called me right back and said he'd fit me in the next hour.
