We had him out once to fix a faucet that was leaking. He was very professional and honest with us that when it came time for us to get a new furnace and hot water heater there was only one person I wanted. He came in worked his tail off. He even had the electrician come in for their part. He hauled away the old equipment and because the cellar gets a little water in the spring he made sure the newly installed Furnace and hot water tank were set up on blocks. He left the area cleaner than when he arrived. We couldn't have been happier with his work. The price he quoted was on point and he even helped with any rebates that I got back. You can't ask for more than that.

Responsive: ABSOLUTELY. You likely won't wait more than 30 minutes for a response.

Quality of service: Maybe OK. He installed a faucet and disposal at a rental unit, but accidentally didn't to FULLY lock the disposal into place. After 7 months, it worked itself loose and is leaking. No biggie, mistakes happen. The faucet has worked fine, to the best of my knowledge.

Professionalism/Customer service - None. When I reached out to him to correct the situation (sent him a tenant provided photo clearly showing the issue,) he claimed I was being ""accusatory"" and wouldn't prioritize fixing the issue, making my tenant wait a week for an appointment (That he likely would have charged for despite, being a faulty installation.) I drove 45 minutes each way to do the 1 minute fix myself. And the kicker is his unprofessional response to my email ""Duly noted, equally ignored."" REALLY?!?! who sends that to a customer?

I will not use Plumberboy again.

Andy came by to reinstall a new shower valve & handle assembly in an apartment during a remodel - after installation, the shower handle was very difficult to close, so much so that my sister cut her hand trying to tighten it to stop the water from dripping out. I called Andy several times afterwards and never heard back.

As a restaurant manager I have had the displeasure of getting to know many plumbers. Most of whom were the dumbest possible people I have ever known (one couldn't spell my name...which is sarah. when I said it had an ""h"" he wrote ""shara"") and most did not care one single ounce about my business, my time, or our problems, often mickey mousing and jimmy rigging instead of doing actual work.

Andy at plumberboy changed my view of plumbers forever. We first met when I was having a problem with my water heater at home. He showed up early, was clean, diagnosed the problem and explained it to me clearly. I repeatedly had this water heater issue every year, but it hasn't acted up since he worked on it. He also pointed out that we were no longer up to code, and fixed that for us.

I called him again to come do some repair work for my restaurant. Again he showed up early and clean, diagnosed the issues, he then did much of the work at his shop...off the clock, so when he came back he was only there for about half an hour. This is extremely important to me since any time spent on repairs means that we can't be open.

I have since recommended him to every person I know who has a plumbing or heating issue. he is the best!
