If I could give these guys six stars I would!

I found Plumber of Tucson because I was potentially interested in having my old cast iron drain pipes relined to avoid needing to repipe the house later on down the line--if such a thing would be possible and a smart idea. (I'm a first time homeowner so what do I know.)

Google turned up only a few plumbers that advertised lining anything other than sewer lines. One of them had a website that felt like a little too much of a hard sell on their technology and I don't trust people who are trying that hard to convince me to buy something. If it's so good, it should speak for itself. Anyway, the inconspicuously named Plumber of Tucson was the other one, so I set up an inspection.

I was really pleased with how quickly and professionally the owner, Don, replied to all of my emails. We set up a time for an inspection, and a team of two came over and ran cameras down every pipe they could fit them in. I had had a bad experience previously with a company I'll refer to as Wrong Way and Plumber of Tucson could not have been more different. I asked a ton of questions and offered lots of probably irrelevant tidbits of information about what I had learned about the plumbing in the house so far, and the plumber (I think it was Joe but both Joe and John have worked on my house now and I can't remember who is who) answered every question and provided insight on all my comments. He was patient and friendly the whole time and this was a big deal to me. I really want to understand how my house works and how I can keep it in good shape, and Plumber of Tucson understands that and makes sure I have all the information I need to be a good homeowner.

The inspection found a busted pipe between our bathrooms, which the guys showed me live on a monitor. They also left me with a thumb drive containing videos of both lines they were able to get images of. (Two things Wrong Way never did for the issues they ""found."")

I had them back out a couple weeks later to fix the pipe and install a sewer cleanout and the whole team was super professional, patient, respectful and again, kind. They put down drop cloths and set up a containment area to prevent dust and dirt from getting anywhere. They peeled back the carpet really carefully so that it could easily be put back down afterwards. They made sure to shut the door when jackhammering so it wouldn't be crazy loud while I was working. The guy who did the cleanouts was careful to put the mulch in the yard back exactly the way he found it (I was impressed because I usually screw that up!). This kind of attention to detail really helps me trust that they are equally careful with their plumbing.

I was full of questions once again and kept popping in to see what the guts of my house look like. Not only were the guys never annoyed by this, they welcomed my interest and eventually started inviting me to come look or take photos whenever they reached a new phase of the repair. I really appreciated that my curiosity was not a problem for them! And of course, the important part--I can HEAR that the drain line is working beautifully now. No more ominous ""burps"" after the water drains. Oh, also, they put the cost of the inspection toward the repair and proactively cut me a deal for having two jobs done at once.

Really, I don't think I've ever felt so comfortable having a team of guys working on my house. I will be more than happy to continue coming to them for my plumbing needs in the future.

After Plumber Of Tucson did such a great job installing our Green Fusion Water Softener in Feb 2022 we hired them again in March 2022. We needed water and propane gas lines ran to our shed to enable us to have a washer and dryer. Jon and Scott installed hot and cold Pex lines to our shed and a washer drain pipe. They also dug under our park model home to assure that the washer would drain correctly. Installed gas lines from our propane tank to shed for gas dryer hook up. They arrived on time calling prior to confirm, worked very neatly & organized. The plumbing installed was done extremely well including adding braided stainless steel washer hoses & washer hose hot & cold valves in our shed. Jon and Scott also added pipe installation on the copper pipe sections that were exposed. The price for the job was not cheap but fair and they guarantee the work in writing.

Always do a great job at a fair price. I've used Plumber of Tucson for a variety of jobs in our townhome. Don is always responsive and helpful. The plumbers who arrive are punctual, courteous and have all the tools & materials to perform the task at hand. No job is too big or too small. I'd recommend Plumber of Tucson for anyone who needs work done by a competent company.

We returned to our home in Tucson after an extended out-of-State trip to find our builder-installed, 7-year-old (plus) water softener leaking. Based upon internet reviews, we called Plumber of Tucson. When Josh from Plumber of Tucson came out on Monday, we explained we needed to have the problem fixed within the current week as we were planning another trip. Only our adult children would be left at home and we did not want either of them to have to deal with an existing plumbing issue.

Josh spent right at a half-hour inspecting, speaking with us about, and photographing our existing water softener and its installation. He suggested a significantly more expensive upgraded system than we originally were planning to purchase, gave us a ballpark estimate for the system and installation, and told us Plumber of Tucson ""...would take care of everything"" at the stated price point estimate. My wife and I discussed our options and decided to go with the upgraded replacement system Josh suggested. We contacted the Plumber of Tucson office to relay our decision and pretty quickly received an email from Don Paz, Owner of the company. Don quoted an all-inclusive (new water softener system and""all incidental materials, installation, and haul away of the old system"") price and an appointment was set up for Wednesday morning between 9:00 AM and 12:00 Noon. Not knowing anything about the installation of water softeners (as I am pretty certain Don Paz knows little or nothing about my professional practice), we took them at their word and assumed the folks at Plumber of Tucson knew what they were doing and that which they were telling us. We quickly learned that was an incorrect assumption.

The first problem came when my phone rang at 8:00 AM and the Plumber of Tucson installer said he (and his partner) were in front of our home. Having worked through the better part of the night, that phone call got us out of bed. Despite being an hour early, we allowed the installers to begin working. The primary installer handed me his smart phone and told me I needed to sign within the displayed signature block (the only thing visible on the screen) so they could begin the work. No contract was ever given or even shown to me. The only document I had seen to that point was the email sent to me on Monday by Don, quoting the all-inclusive price.

The first thing the installers did was to cut the copper water lines attached to the old unit, disconnect the plastic drain tubing, and pull the old unit away from the wall. At 8:18 AM, my phone rang again. This time it was Chris (apparently the co-owner of Plumber of Tucson), who told me, ""The guys are here at the office with me getting their things ready to come out to your home. It will take them a few more minutes to get ready and then another 20 minutes to get out to your home. Is it OK if they arrive a little early?"" I told Chris, ""Really? Your guys actually arrived 20 minutes ago and are standing in front of me"". I expressed my displeasure with the one-hour early arrival and his overt lying to me, and then ended the call. At 8:24 AM, Chris called back and told me he was reducing the total cost for the work to be done by $100.00 because of Plumber of Tucson's lack of ""punctuality"". Chris never mentioned his outright lie, but apparently felt a $100.00 reduction in the total cost for the work to be done would absolve him of his intentional and blatant dishonesty.

About two or three minutes later, the installers told me I would either need an electrician to come out and install an electrical outlet before they could install the new water softener system or they would need to run an extension cord the full length of our garage because the old system had been hardwired by the builder. They told me this was my problem to resolve. I would remind the reader that Josh spent a full half-hour inspecting and photographing our existing water softener installation. I told the installers they were really putting us in a bind because we needed the work completed this week (it was now Wednesday morning), we did not want to installation to be ""jury-rigged"", and there was no way we could get an electrician to come out right now or maybe even in a day or two. I asked the installers why Josh did not say anything about this issue on Monday when he spent a half-hour inspecting the old system. They said they didn't know the answer to that.
The primary installer called the Plumber of Tucson Office and then handed me his phone, telling me Don wanted to speak to me. As I was trying to explain to Don everything that was going wrong, he repeatedly interrupted me as I was trying to speak. I told Don to stop interrupting me and to listen to what I was trying to tell him. At that, Don began screaming at me over the phone and telling me, ""No, you are going to listen to what I am saying. You are going to do what I say. The contract says the electrical is your problem"".

Our sink was clogged and we called the home warranty sent us a plumber who said we had to do major work on our pipes for an estimate of $ 8000
we called the Plumber of Tucson for another. He came very soon and after two days of work he unclogged the pipes and offered an innovative solution.
He was very courteous, he left his work area clean and the final price was very reasonable.

We shopped around and we're glad we did. The folks at Plumber of Tucson did a great job of retrofitting a washer connection into a new laundry space that had been a closet. They gave us the original bid from photos we had taken. After we asked them to come by and do the work, the bid did not change. They arrived promptly as scheduled having regularly communicated with us to set the time. The workers were professional and the work they did was excellent.

I had to update this because my water heater ultimately wasn't the problem. After the install, there was still water around the new one! I called Don back and he said Josh was nearby and he would send him back. He came back, and even though he had to jackhammer through a concrete wall, he diagnosed the true culprit, a broken kitchen/sewer trap pipeline that had been crushed by faulty construction. Unfortunately he didn't have the equipment to fix it, but he did replace my faulty water main shutoff valve, put everything back in order, clean up and promise he'd be back first thing on Monday to finish the repairs. Sure enough, Josh and Dillon were back bright and early Monday morning, finished the repairs, helped me secure it so that rodents couldn't get in the hole until I could patch the wall, and made sure the repair worked properly before they left. Everything was done beautifully and I appreciate the quality work they did and the great work ethic and attitude they have. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

I really liked the work done by the company. They were friendly and efficient. The only reason that I only gave them a 4 was to draw attention to the sloppy clean up. Some areas were ok but the yard by the curb inlet box was not returned to its original. The sheet rock on the ceiling of the garage was not replaced but they gave us a contact number for a drywaller.

Plumber of Tucson serviced my Navien tankless water heater in an extremely professional and timely manner. I will definitely be calling them again for any plumbing needs that may arise in the future. I dealt with Don, Jon and Joe, and they were all extremely knowledgeable, diligent and friendly.

I have had four different plumbers perform services in the last year. However, this outfit, for me, was the best.

The first time the owner came out he refitted my new hot water with updated hoses, and pipes.

The second time he installed my custom water filtering system that I recently purchased on the advice of another plumber. The other plumber, A.S.G. plumber, turned out not to have email, or accept credit cards. He was cash only and way overpriced. Plumber of Tucson came to my rescue. I was astonished how much lower he charged in regards of the quote I got from A.S.G. Plumber of Tucson, accepts credit cards and provides a complete quote/work order of the services provided. They cleaned up everything and removed all the old pipes and fixtures.
