Several months ago, Plumber Boy was assigned to perform a repair at my house by my home warranty company. They set an appointment window but didn't show up. Additionally, they never called to apologize or set a new appointment. I called the home warranty company to select a different plumber.
Recently, my home warranty company assigned Plumber Boy to diagnose a problem with my house's hot water system: failure to deliver hot water to faucets in a timely fashion. Plumber Boy did not show up for their assigned appointment, but they did reschedule for later that same day. After three visits to my house, Plumber Boy concluded that there was nothing to fix, the hot water system was as good as it was going to get, and that I just needed to live with it. I explained several times that the hot water system was perfect just a few months prior, but they dismissed this fact and did not take it into consideration.
When their two tankless hot water heaters experts agreed that the problem was not solvable, I went onto YouTube and quickly found two possible approaches: 1) clean the small filter on the tankless water heater, and 2) perform a descaling service by flushing the water heater with a vinegar-based solution. I performed service #1 by myself, and the hot water problem was instantly fixed! I decided to give Plumber Boy one more chance and called them (independent of my home warranty company) to see if they wanted to perform service #2. I left three messages for them, and they never returned my calls.
Overall, the employees with whom I worked at Plumber Boy were extremely nice when we talked on the phone and in person. However, they were unable to diagnose and/or fix a problem with a tankless water heater, and they were completely nonresponsive to my phone calls and voicemails. Unfortunately, I would not recommend engaging with Plumber Boy if time is of the essence, or if you have a tricky problem to solve.

My home warranty sent them out. The technician Alex was fine, but he never provided a report to home warranty until they called them a week later at my urging. I tried calling myself multiple times and always got their voicemail.

Wasted a week with this company, they agreed fix pipes but when I called to schedule it, they said won't do it because of liability. Hired another company and after pipes were fixed found that the original estimate of PB was wrong since they were going to cut more pipes than needed.

Jose fixed a couple of issues in the toilet. He did a good job.

Dave did a fantastic job. The new water heater would not fit the pan that was installed in the cabinet and a new round one would not allow the door to closed. Dave found someone to fabricate a square pan and everything fit. The alternative was to extend the cabinet into the hallway. Thanks Dave, for all your hard work.

Plummer Boys were assigned to me through home warranty. They did a great job diagnosing the problems which I thought would not be fixed right away, pending the reports and approval from home warranty. One of the problems was an easy fix. I fixed it myself with guidance from them who were next to me the whole time. I am very thankful for it, especially after many failed attempts by another Plummer company that I called myself. (I didn't read the home warranty contract carefully).

There are 2 ways to describe this company- RIP OFF AND GROSS INCOMPETENCE. If I could give zero stars, I would. They have ruined my whole system. My warranty company assigned them as the plumber to address two separate issues. I was having in my house. First of all, it took them over a month to come out and even look at my problem. They also never answer the phone and seldom returned a phone call. Even when the technician that was assigned, Jose, clearly didn't know what he was doing, his supervisor David, never came to my house, despite repeated conversations with him telling me he would. Come to find out after having a second opinion, Jose installed the pump to my water heater backwards and didn't put a sensor on it as it had been before. This caused the pump to constantly run and pull all my cold water into the water heater burning it out leaving me without cold water in my house and zero water pressure in various places in my house. As a result, my dishwasher and washing machine do not work properly as well as many other faucets in my house. He also broke the main line when he tried to turn my water off, and I had to get the city of Long Beach out to remedy the situation. In addition after 2 costly video inspections and even paying extra for them to simply remove a toilet, they still could not identify the source of a backup. I have attached pictures of the parthat was broken and the one that was replaced without a sensor and installed incorrectly as well as Jose at my kitchen sink dumbfounded by what he had done. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE IN YOUR HOME !!

I'll just start out by saying Plummer Boy was assigned to me through my home warranty. I was able to schedule an appointment the same week but was concerned about the long time frame of arrival, 4 hours. I was reassured that the plumber would put me at the top of the list as the first stop. The day of the appointment the plumber called to say he would arrive within 10 minutes. When 15 minutes passed I called to hear he arrived. He brought up what was needed. I informed him of the diagnosis from a previous technician and so he began snaking the washer drain. About 30 minutes later it was complete. The washer drain was unclogged, for now, and that was all that could be done.

Had Plumer Boys sent out by our Home warranty. (Originally we had another plumbing company assigned to us. But that one never called, never answered. it had already been 5 days since we reached out )
Plumber Boys came out the SAME DAY we made contact, I called this morning, and they had someone at my house by 4pm today!
Which is awesome because we have family staying over tomorrow and we need our extra bathroom fixed.
Work was completed, area was left clean. He was efficient and took care of business. Thank you Jose from Plumber Boys

Referred to them by my home warranty... plumber came out and couldn't fix the toilet problem. He said he needed to order a part and he'll come back to fix the issue when part arrives. 2 weeks pass, no phone call. I would call them and leave messages, no one calls me back! It's been over a month, and still haven't heard anything from them. BAD Customer Service!! No business etiquette!! I do not recommend this business for their service!
