After reading five star reviews on yelp for Bob Plumber, called him up for taking a look at a leak in my home. He was not able to figure what the actual issue was with the leak, instead he was leading us in the wrong direction. It seemed that he wanted to do a temporary fix instead of fixing the real issue. After we pointed out what the actual problem was he seemed to be little ticked off with that. Now he quotes me four times the normal price to fix the problem. I then asked him to provide a detailed quote. He now becomes very defensive and simply denies to provide a detailed quote. We did not hire him to fix the issue. This whole experience would make me think twice on the authencity of the various 5 star yelp reviews.

I read the 5-star reviews about Plumber Bob, so we called him to fix a nasty water leak from an old water filter under our kitchen sink. We got lucky and he was able to come out within a couple of hours. He knew exactly what to do, and fixed it quickly at a reasonable price. He will definitely be our go-to guy from now on!

Absolutely hands-down the best experience ever had with a contractor. Plumber Bob showed up a little bit early and completed the job with quality precision expediently. Not only did Plumber Bob do excellent work, he also was less expensive than the two other plumbing contractors that I contacted. This is only the second occasion that I've ever felt compelled to post a review on yelp, not that I haven't encountered good service in the San Diego Metro but someone as busy myself, only excellence warrants taking the time to concoct a review. From now on, I will exclusively utilize his services and strongly recommend to my friends, family, and fellow yelpers to strongly consider doing the same.

I have used Plumber Bob on quite a few situations for the last 2 years from him installing our dishwasher, fixing clogs, fixing leaks, fixing faucets, etc. etc. He's great! Thank goodness for Plumber Bob! I discovered a gas leak last week. Bob was able to come over quickly and discovered some leaking pipes. Bob showed up on time, was professional and officious in his work. He returned to make a full repair and by Monday I was taking hot showers at home again! Bob estimated the cost of the repair at the beginning of the job and the final cost was consistent with the estimate. I highly recommend Bob to all homeowners who want a reliable plumber who will take the time to tell them what the problem is- and fix it!

I needed my sewer line replaced a few months ago and got 5 different companies to come out and give me bids since it was such a big job. They were going to have to trench down 6 feet at the sidewalk, dig under the house, replace over 100 feet of line, open the walls inside, etc... One of them didn't even get back to me with a price and I could tell that a couple of the plumbers were hesitant to take the job. The big companies, where you don't ever meet the owner, seemed capable but the price was way too high. Bob came in with a quote right around what I expected to pay and seemed ready to go. I hired him and he showed up on the days he said he would and completed the job on time, all while dealing with a tenant that wasn't thrilled having people coming and going for a week. He even lowered the price a bit due to his crew hand digging the trench and not having to rent an excavator. He's definitely a professional and will be the only one I call going forward.

I arrived home from work Thursday night to the sight of a completely flooded garage. It was the hot water heater. I found Bob on Yelp and gave him a call, leaving a message at about 9:30 P.M. He called me back first thing in the morning and by 2:00 that afternoon a new unit had been fully installed at a competitive, fair price.Great service, great guy!

Although I use Yelp as a search resource I rarely write reviews, but this plumbing experience compelled me to do so! Plumber Bob is an around trustworthy and knowledgeable small business man. He solved all our home plumbing issues quickly and efficiently while being very reasonably priced. I don't even think he charged me for the minor stuff that made a huge difference in our daily water usage. Truly signs of a great business man who works passionately and not just out to rip people off. It puzzles me when people complain about the mark up of some of the material and products used during the process of repairs. Consider the fact that sometimes you are paying for the convenience and the person's knowledge and skill to resolve the issue. If you were simply paying for cost then you'd go out and buy the items yourself and fix it yourself! I'd recommend Plumber Bob to anyone who's in need of a pipes specialists! He's as good as it gets! Called me on Wed, set it for Friday. Showed up on time, changed my bathroom sink plumbing, including the angle stops and hoses, attached the sink, X 2 - for the kitchen sink. Then topped it off and fixed the plumbing in my 71 Vintage Trailer. Done right, done well, and cleaned up after himself. I'm a happy camper! Thank you Plumber Bob!!
