I have two small places that I own and rent out in west LA. I usually do minor plumbing repairs myself because I have had bad experiences with pros I've used in the past. BUT, since I've been using these guys for the last year, I pretty much just call them up directly before even checking out the problem myself. I am perfectly fine just sending them to the tenant without me and trusting that the work will be done. I never have to worry about pricing or reliability with these guys. They even clean up the floors real nice after they are done working. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Josh and Eddie arrived today at my house as promised. The house flooded last night and believe me, the dogs were in heaven and we weren't. Both Josh and Eddie were extremely professional and thorough. They fixed my problem, gave me expert advice on how to resolve this recurring plumbing problem and charged me a fair price. These guys are as good as it gets. I will recommend My Plumbing Doctor and Josh and Eddie to all my friends and coworkers for any plumbing issues.

If I were a homeowner I'd be putting these guys on speed-dial.

I had a stopped-up sink, no emergency, so I scheduled an appointment.
Whoever answered the phone was polite, helpful and gave me an accurate quote for the intended service (drain snaking = $75).

In my experience, the two-hour appointment window is a rarity, so that was a pleasant surprise. Another pleasant surprise was how prompt Eddie was the morning of the appointment - he was so on-time that I was still in my pj's.

He was friendly, got the job done quickly, charged me what I expected, dispensed some friendly advice about the short-term, and for the long-term suggested (without any dire warnings or hard sells) that the building's older pipes might need to be looked at.

I had a problem with my shower and gave them a call. They got back to me right away and Greg came over the same day. He knew exactly what the problem was, was very personable, and he fixed it right away. Easily the best service call I ever had. I recommend these guys 100%.

After freaking out because my relatives over exaggerate everything and said it would cost me thousands of dollars to fix, I went to Yelp to find the best of the best. 118 5 star ratings, clearly says something. I wrote an email at 12am about my toilet gurgling, and emptying...They wrote me back a couple of hours later telling me to call in the morning. I called and they all greeted me as the girl who emailed them last night, which I loved. 2 hours and $99 dollars later everything was fixed. Eddie was quick, and nice...and I am very happy!

I called them because of the reviews in Yelp and they were great. We had major drain blockage. They quoted me a price on the phone but explained it would be more if there was a main line problem and 2 men were needed. The first guy came out, on time, and worked hard to solve the problem, but he could not. He called back to the office and told them that we needed another team out here TODAY. He assured me that they would come and they did. The second crew (2 men) arrived at 6 and the problem was solved in an hour. We had to pay the higher price but it was fair. The guys were really nice and totally cleaned up a gross mess. I would call them again.

What can I say?? They were exactly what we needed at the right time! We had a main sewer line problem, which started out as a drainage problem in our shower. After multiple attempts to ""do it ourselves"", it became vividly clear that we were going to need a little more help.

Of course, our biggest concern was that we would be ripped off by a plumber, so we turned to yelp to get advice from our neighbors. We initially called ""Drains Unlimited"" but they were short-staffed today so she graciously referred us to ""My Plumbing Doctor"". We called at 8am, told them our issue and were told that they would send ""Eddie"" out b/c he's the expert with these problems, they gave us a window of 11-1pm. He showed up at 11:45. He was out in less than an hour and was really great, explaining what needed to be done and answering all the questions that my hubby had. Eddie was really professional and hardworking, and he didn't waste time AT ALL!

We were charged about $90 for his work/time and it was money well spent. Now we can shower, flush and use the water in peace.

My Plumbing Doctor was not approved for the job as we were shopping for prices. He'd asked for address to estimate the vicinity and came without being asked to come or approving the job. Once he got here he saw the other company we hired he threatened me and started cursing and got in my face. If you like violence hire this company.

James is awesome! He is hardworking, honest, and hilarious!

I inherited the nastiest toilet from a previous renter. And even after steam cleaning it in a hazmat suit, I used it once and of course, it clogged. And I swear it wasn't my fault!!

Called MPD. 30 minutes later James shows up and works some magic. I have been clog free 4 months now!
