Leslie was so great! She fixed our garbage disposal and taught my fiancé how to fix minor jams when they pop up in the future! So awesome!

A nasty sewer issue within the crawl space of my basement was found on a weekend. With the help of google and yelp, I decided to call Plumb Works for help. They scheduled Spencer to come within a couple hours of me calling and I agreed to the weekend/off hour service charge. Spencer showed as promised, assessed the situation and tried his best to access the issue. Unfortunately, Spencer just wasn't able to get to the area because of the lack of clearance. He informed me that Plumb Works does have other service agents that can access the area and that customer service will call me first thing Monday morning to schedule. And no charge for his visit. As promised, they called at 8:10AM Monday. The service rep, Katie, was fully aware of the situation and had Leslie come later in the day. I didn't have to explain anything. Spencer took care of all that. Leslie came, got in the area, took all the notes needed and shared what was needed to be done. And to do it right, she needed more resources so we scheduled Wednesday for the repair with extra pair of hands. It's now Wednesday afternoon. Repair done and it took less time than originally thought so a discount from the initial quote was given. The scope of work remained the same and having it done quicker than thought was great for me yet they gave me the discount! It may have taken a couple of tries and a few days to get it done but I knew it wasn't an easy fix. Their level of attention was excellent. I honestly thought I had to call them Monday and explain the situation all over again. Everything they said they will do they did in a timely manner and workmanship is clearly top notch.

Recently purchased a home and needed some gas plumbing replaced and my new stove to be connected. Vann came out and gave me a quote. He was able to do the job right away. Someone brought him the rest of the materials he needed. He rechecked things twice to make sure nothing was leaking and cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend using them as they are very professional and thorough.

First let me say that other Review sites have much, much lower ratings than Yelp. I wonder why. If I had checked the other sites first I probably would have passed on Plumb Works. Check out the other sites and make up your own mind. I was attempting to do 2 minor repairs for my girlfriend: replace a couple of bathtub drains. They were old, nasty looking, and the cross-ties inside, off course, broke off when I attempted to unscrew them. I bought an exactor tool and tried again. One came out without too much drama and I installed the new drain. The other one, however, was much more challenging. The tool got such a good grip that I could not remove it from the drain. Meanwhile, the first drain started leaking and water was dripping into the living room below. I had to admit that I was beaten and my girlfriend called Plumb Works. I told her that I would pay for the repairs since it was my idea to replace the drains that she thought were perfectly O.K. I figured maybe $2-300.00 to resolve the issues. Boy was I wrong!!! Of course there was the $69.00 dispatch fee that would be credited to the repairs. So far, so good. The plumber who arrived seemed a bit young for a Mater Plumber so my girlfriend called Plumb Works and was told that the plumber was a Journeyman. She said she was paying for a Master Plumber and she wanted a Master Plumber but was assured that the plumber was a good one. The plumber inspected the first tub and quoted $795.00!!! This tub is in a rental carriage house apartment with a new tenant coming in next week, so we reluctantly agreed. Apparently this was going to be a 2-man job, so a second plumber was called in. The other tub was a simple remove and re-seal the drain that I had installed. Without boring you with all the details (too late....) the tab for the two repairs was a bit under $1000.00 for about 3 hours labor and maybe $40.00 in parts. By my math, it works out to about $160.00 per hour per man. Maybe that's the going rate, I have no idea, I just know that it was a LOT higher than I could have possibly imagined. I will say that the work performed seems to have been done well and professionally. So far we have not found any leaks, but it has only been 1 day and no one has used either tub yet. I have no problem with the quality of the work done or the skills of the plumbers. Both were nice, friendly, and professional. My only complaint is the outrageous charges. I think $160.00 an hour is way too high.

I would NEVER recommend the Plumb Works location for Water Heater Repair. They were very nice and cordial when I called, and I received a call when the plumber was on his way BUT this is when I began to worry. I described the issue to him (pilot light not lighting) on the phone and right away he said I will come and look at it but most of the time we just have to replace the full water heater. I explained to him the unit was only 3 years old and he said he would be there to look at it soon. After arriving at my house he spent about 3 minutes looking at the unit, tried to light the pilot light (just like I had tried this am) clicked around on his iPad and then informed me that I would need a new unit. I asked if he would do any diagnostics on it and he said he knew the problem and it would need to be fully replaced. I then asked for a quote for the replacement, still not convinced as he has now only been in my house for less then 10 minutes. He then quoted me $1,995 for a new water heater, we just replaced one (from another company) at our old house across town for around $1,000 - I asked about why the cost was so high and he explained that if I had a issue with the cost I could call Home Depot because Plumb Works sells their own brand and it would cost more. I decline his offer, payed the $69 fee for him to come to my house and DO NOTHING and then he proceeds to leave. After I called another plumbing company from across town who we had worked with before, they are quick to respond spent about 30 min troubleshooting my unit, finds out it is under warranty, callis in the part (which was a small bulb on the back of the machine that was broken) and for less than $100 I have hot water again. I cannot imagine if I had dropped $1,995 with Plum Works for a full new unit when it was just a light bulb. They did nothing to help and did not even try and solve the problem. DO NOT USE THEM. You will be ripped off.

These guys are on top of it. I had my water go out on a Thursday afternoon. After the city came by to inspect, they said that it was not on their side, so I called the plumbers at 9. The lady on the phone was courteous and made sure to get all of the proper information. She said that the on call would call back shortly. I waited an hour and then called back. The lady on the phone apologized and mentioned that the on call was having a hard time getting in touch with me. She immediately connected us and the plumber explained that she was stuck on a flooded basement and tried to offer some troubleshooting for me. I told her that I tried everything and that the city came out, so she explained that the fee would be $150 and we agreed to the service. She came by an hour later. I honk her name was Leslie. She got right to work and had it fixed in 15 minutes. The city had not realized that they had shut off my water, so Leslie just turned it back on. Next time I'll definitely check the meter myself, but I was relieved to have water again. I'll definitely have a conversation with the city so they don't accidentally shut it off again. I feel like they should have figured out the water had been turned off too, but that's another review. Overall, great service. Would highly recommend.

Plumb Works came to my rescue. They were easy to schedule and the plumber actually arrived ahead of schedule. He was good at explaining the problem and the solution. He also cleaned up his mess and was very professional. All in all, a good experience.

Vann did an incredible job fixing my kitchen sink and toilet. He was very professional and gave some very helpful tips as well for general maintenance, would gladly bring him back again.

I had a very minor toilet malfunction, and called Plumb Works to figure it out. They sent out Darryl, who arrived even earlier than expected and was so great to work with! He provided quick service and was a total gentleman. I will definitely call again for additional plumbing concerns.

I requested Plumb Works come out and replace a garbage disposal. While not a complicated job, it's something I'd rather not deal with. The low and high estimates for Atlanta on HomeWyse were $178 to $229 for labor to replace a disposal, so that's approximately what I expected to pay. I had already purchased the disposal and no additional plumbing supplies were required as the purchased disposal already came with all the parts necessary to complete the installation. The appointment was scheduled for the next day and the plumber showed up on time. After a few minutes, I was quoted a fee of $305 to install the disposal. I was very surprised but decided to proceed with the work, as I was already on the hook for a $69 trip fee. The job was done in an hour and there were no other issues and I was given a $25 new customer discount. Be careful using this company as they will not provide estimates over the phone and their rates run very high.
