I recently had Plumb Plumbing come to my house to replumb it. The house is an older house built in 1955, double-course brick walls. It was expanded two times since the 50's, both in double-course brick. So, needless to say... Getting through the ""interior"" walls can be difficult in places where it used to be an outside wall.

Plumb was able to retrofit this house with ease. They replaced the old galvanized plumbing with Wiersbo Aquapex, an industry standard. I had them run a whole new line from the water main. They brought out a trenching machine to cut through my asphault driveway to lay the new line.

The plumbing work took a total of two days. In day one they hooked one of my bathrooms up to insure we had water for that evening. In day two the entire plumbing job had been finished... 1 kitchen, surrounded by brick walls, in which they went from the Aquapex to copper for any lines that had to be exposed. I had them run a copper water supply for hot and cold behind my refrigerator - the only real way to do it since it was surrounded mostly by double-course brick walls. They ran the lines behind my refrigerator and then in the back my cabinets so that nothing that is exposed shows. This was probably the most difficult area in the house to replumb - in the other areas they were able to cut holes in the plaster-finished wall to run the pipes inside the wall to areas that needed a new supply. They did not run any ""exposed"" pipes on the outside, so the finished product looks like a neat ""professional"" install.

They did a total of 1 full bath, a 1/2 bath, one kitchen, and ONLY a cold water line to a 3/4 bath... which is in an area of the house that had newish (70's) copper plumbing. They needed to run the new cold line due to the way the house had been built - when this area was designed the cold run was brought to that bathroom from the outside in a trench. Only Plumb found this potential problem, and since they discovered it before starting work it was accounted for in the plan. I had 4 plumbers quote this job, and Plumb were the only ones that discovered that issue... They were the second I called, and I waited for the others to find the issue but they did not notice. There was one provider who quoted the job cheaper than Plumb Plumbing, but since no one else seemed observant enough to find that issue for the 3/4 bath I decided that Plumb was the right company for the job.

It took a little while longer to repair the walls, as the sub-contractor they hired to do the work was busy after the plumbing install. Once they arrived (Dimension Drywall), however, they were able to match the texture for all the walls that had been cut into for installation of new plumbing.

In addition to the plumbing work, I also had them install a 3M Aqua Pure charcoal/sediment filter in-line before coming into the house. This may prevent the build-up that I suspect occurred in the old system, causing a severe lack of water pressure inside the house. This is the symptom that prompted the replumbing job, as it had just been getting worse and worse for the last 10 years... The water pressure is AMAZING now. I put in a new showerhead that wouldn't have been possible without the additional pressure. Also additionally to the house work, I had them install a new water supply in the front yard (line had to be laid under existing asphault as well...). I decided to hook up the backyard plumbing myself.

PERHAPS I could have done it myself, but not as fast and not as nice. These guys know what they are doing, and they will do an excellent job.

This review is for Plumb Plumbing located in Tucson Arizona. The owner and staff are professional, knowledgeable, attentive and friendly.

I obtained 3 bids and their bid was in the middle. I hired them because of their presentation and detailed estimate.

I had them repipe 2 houses to remove all polybutylene piping. Their work is efficient and they completed both houses in a timely manner.

One house was done in 2010 and the other house in 2012. The service quality was the same. There were no surprises and everything was done and finished to my satisfaction.

I HIGHLY Recommend them for your plumbing needs.

NEVER AGAIN. Had a blockage and they sent out Andy who looked in our bathroom for two seconds then went immediately up to our roof. We have an older house and he couldn't get access with the snake through the roof, so he came back down and charged us extra for going on the roof. He then accessed the pipe through the ""LAV"" when it was obvious the blockage was between the toilet and the shower (positioned right next to each other). He did not remove the toilet(the right way to do it)! The blockage was
partially loosened, but the very next day we had the same issues! We called back and they said they'd charge us $139.00 to come back out. Within days the problem persisted until we awoke to a flood in our master bedroom and bath! Ankle deep water all through the wood floors and behind walls!! We called another company and within an hour they resolved the problem by removing the toilet and using the snake. Laziness and lack of competence by Plumb Plumbing caused us a huge expense and damaged our home!!!

I got my whole house repiped. Here are the pros and cons:

Pros:
- Affordable pricing for repipes
- Have large crews that can repipe your house in a day
- Get all their work permitted and inspected
- Detailed, professional estimates emailed to you
- Do a lot of total repipes in Tucson
- Using best brand of PEX pipes and fittings
- Can include drywall repair, which most plumbers don't include

Cons:
- You get what you pay for
- Crew was young and inexperienced
- Anything unusual flummoxed them
- Some things were done improperly or not done at all.
- The owner Steve was rude.

Bottom line...if you are a real estate investor or if you are planning to sell your home, these guys will give you a permitted repipe for cheap. If you plan to actually live in the house they repipe, I suggest you keep searching, especially if you live in an order house with more complex plumbing issues.

We started the project to replace the outdated brass bathroom fixtures. When we realized that several holes would need to be cut in the walls to access the shower plumbing, we decided to go ahead with replacing the polybutylene piping.

Re-piping is a very disruptive process but it was made less so by the good work of your crew. We would especially like to mention you, Steve for your advice and help. Your crew, Bruce, Ed, Ethan, Joe and Trina were always polite, helpful and had our best interests at heart.

When ever we need more plumbing work done, we will be sure to call Plumb Plumbing and we will recommend you to our neighbors

These guys are the real deal! Aaron and his guys showed up at 8 AM to replumb my entire house. It is 2 PM and they are almost finished. They are very well coordinated, have everything they need on the two trucks they showed up with, and they all get along with each other. The pricing is good. their attitudes are great. it is obvious they are pros at what they are doing. i'm impressed.

Had a backed up bath tub recently, but all the other plumbing in the bathroom, and Apartment in general, was working fine. So, a bit of a mystery. We called the property manager for our place, and they sent out Plumb Plumbing. The guy that showed up at my door was called Andy, and he turned up on time, and he went about what should have been a relatively simply problem. Turns out it wasn't, but Andy knew his job, maintained a professional and quite friendly manor the entire time, and did in fact get the problem solved. This is actually the second time we've had Plumb Plumbing sent out to us (the first was a bit of emergency plumbing on this past 4th of July, guy was here within the hour, and done and gone about an hour after that), and both times we've been well pleased. Give these guys a call, they know what they're doing!

Arrived home Friday night May 30 at 8:30 PM and could not turn on main water supply to my house. The gate valve was corroded - so no water to my house. At 9PM I called Plumb Plumbing on their 24/7 phone number and in 5 minutes Shane, the on-call plumber called me. He diagnosed the valve problem immediately and was at my house 25 minutes later and within one hour replaced the valve so by 10:30 PM we had water.

Service was excellent. Shane, the on-call plumber, was efficient, courteous, and professional. Extremely pleased with response time and service. Pricing was good considering this was a night/emergency call.
