The service provided by the technician from plumb perfect was outstanding. Very through and cleanly while performing the work (no complaint there whatsoever). He went above and beyond to ensure raw sewage was not splattered around my house. My complaint is concerning the price. The price was so far beyond fair it was incredible. Even with a 20% discount it was way more expensive. Save yourself some money and call Alexander and Sons Plumbing.

Mr. Scott and Mr. Joseph answered an emergency service request for a water pipe freezing and breaking in our home. To echo a previous review, they were extremely ""prompt, professional, and thorough"". Mr. Scott and Mr. Joseph are both very knowledgeable, and provided an expedient and thorough diagnosis, and fix to our problem. They also provided expert advice as to how to prevent this same problem from reoccurring in the future. For installing a dishwasher and plumbing under the sink I was told it would be $1040!!! That was more than I could afford and when I told the plumber that he quickly dropped 300 off the price quote. I ended up getting the job done by another company for under $500. I am out $29.99 for the price quote and do not plan to call them again.

As long as this company services my area I will never use another plumber! They were able to come out within a day and troubleshoot the issue I was having in the shower. Scott started with the basic fixes and when that didn't work then went to having to replace the entire shower faucet. He was able to come out the very next afternoon and complete the job. Pricing was reasonable and company is very responsive and proactive in keeping you aware of appointment windows and the tech that is coming out. A+++

Called them based on Yelp ratings and was not dissapointed. I called on a Thursday night when the garbage disposal in my kitchen sounded like it was full of shrapnel. I knew it was rusted and was on borrowed time. Anyway, they scheduled an appt. for Friday morning, showed up on time, and did a great job. They had several models of disposals on the truck, each with varying HP and warranties. I also had them redo the pvc under the sink - it was much needed. The entire job took an hour, and the total cost was very fair. I had an estimate from a few years earlier, so I knew they were quoting me a fair market price. They actually gave me a discount off the quoted price. I will definitely call them again and recommend them to do home repair and rough-in plumbing in your house!

Thomas arrived yesterday early for estimate of first project. Next day Thomas and Ed, his journeyman, arrived promptly with new replacement toilet. They extracted the ""antique"" and installed the new Kohler replacement within one hour ... flawlessly. For the second project estimate, Thomas suggested a rational and cost effective solution to a water filtering problem which creates a noisy 20-minute cycling. They rebuilt a third toilet with items already on Thomas's truck.

He runs an efficient operation. Both he and Ed maintained spotless conditions throughout one removal and two installations -- both unfailingly courteous and friendly. I'll recommend them to anyone and everyone I know.

Excellent service. We had ground water coming into the basement. I left messages with several plumbers in the area and got no return call. Found this company, saw they had a few solid reviews, so I sent an email. Thomas called back within short order and came to my house a few hours after our call.

SUPER professional guy. Came with his own door mat to lay down, and the little booties to put on. Assessed our situation and let us know the quote. Now, I'd just had someone else by maybe an hour before Thomas came. That guy assessed the same exact situation. But his price was about $300 higher. No issues with the other guy, he was great too. But due to the water issue we have a LOT of work to do, so every dollar saved counts. Plus, Thomas owns this business as well as being local to Fredericksburg and I believe in working with those types of businesses when reasonable and possible.

Thomas broke down what he thought the problem was (sump pump) due to testing and observation, and what he knew it wasn't (leak in pipe main that a previous plumber a few months back claimed). Sump was actually the primary issue and the pipe main leak was a secondary symptom. Made a lot of sense. Again, all of this was in line with what the guy earlier in the day said. He was able to replace the pump on the spot. Problem solved. Accepts all methods of payments, including AmEX. Immediately emailed my estimate sheet and work receipt (YAY for paperless!). Also recommended someone for mold remediation.

So again, great guy, great service. One note, when calling for an appointment you'll be given the option to contact him by text or email. I did both. I believe he got the email first. :)
