This company is so expensive. Just to have a drain snaked (including tax and $59 service fee) was $600. And then you only get a one month guarantee.
We won't be using them again.

In my opinion, the estimate provided was out of any reasonable bounds. If you are thinking of using this Company get other estimates before committing to them. You will be glad you did.

Our toilet was not working properly and my husband tried to fix it but we didn't have the correct tools. The plumber showed up promptly but then tried to sell us a maintenance contract for plumbing, heating and cooling ( we don't have central air) and replacing most of the guts of out toilet at a cost $442. We're seniors and I'm on oxygen so we needed the upstairs bathroom but I feel we were taken advantage of and I would not recommend this company

I cannot disagree with what other reviewers have said regarding the cost of work done by this company; this is never going to be your least expensive option. However, if you are looking for reliable and trustworthy service completed by knowledgeable and highly skilled professionals, you won't find any plumbing company better Plumb It Heat It Cool It. Not only do they do excellent work, but they 110% stand by their workmanship should any problem arise. As they say, ""you only get what you pay for"" - and with this company, you may be paying a bit more than other companies, but you are getting a special kind of peace of mind which comes with dealing with the honest, hard-working, decent human beings (Rob and Rachel) who own this company, and with their associates, (like Alex) who possess the same characteristics as the owners. I believe in supporting neighborhood businesses and in my opinion, this is one of the best there is! If you have a plumbing, heating, or cooling issue, do not hesitate to give this company a try. If you have read the other reviews, you can see that while there are complaints about costs, no one has anything negative to say about the quality of their work, their professionalism, or their friendliness. Let's face it - with the supply chain and inflation issues this country has experienced post-Covid, nothing costs what it once did. Plumb It Heat It Cool It provides its customers with something a lot of companies do not - a quality job done by highly trained and skilled technicians who care about their work and who make every attempt to please their customers, whom they truly value.

Unfortunately, I have to echo what the other reviewers say. These are skilled and responsive people but they overcharge to the point where you question whether they are honest. I had them come to my home to do a job which they completed well but it turned out more work needed to be done. The quote for everything seemed crazy to me so I got some additional estimates for the second part of the job- they overcharged by more than double, almost triple. It's a shame because I actually was on a monthly plan with them- I try to support local business. Anyways, I learned the hard way that you absolutely need to get a couple estimates before letting someone work on your house. They take advance of people who are in a bind.

Technician was punctual and professional. Left my house spotless after working. Repeat customer, because they are reliable and always do a great job, and I do not have to wait a long time to get on their schedule. Highly recommend this company for their great service.

The good ends there. The fee schedule for this company is higher than any surgeon, lawyer, CEO, etc.

Bidet toilet seat install - ten minutes - $297

Whole house humidifier filter change - ten minutes, including cleaning the housing - $207 including the filter you can buy from Amazon for $13

Toilet installation - $600 if you bring your own toilet. $1,000 if you go with theirs. Very few standard toilets are $400.

Regular (bring your own) toilet seat installation - five minutes - $99

Sink drain stopper cleaning - five minutes - $169

Putting drain stopper back into the sink after cleaning - one minute - $116

Everything is presented as a total number and never itemized.

Summary: incredible customer service and follow-up at absolutely inexcusable prices.

We had Plumb It Heat It Cool It come to our home twice for straightforward plumbing repairs.

To their credit, they were responsive, professional, and friendly. They were able to schedule repairs the next day. We got email notifications when the technician was en route to our home. The technician presented the estimated cost before completing the work. We got an email invoice immediately after paying. The technician, who was quite young, adhered to COVID protocols and wore booties.
HOWEVER, Plumb It Heat It Cool It is outrageously and inexplicably expensive. The company leaves the customer with a very bad impression about how they formulate their prices or estimate. One feels genuinely gouged.

There is a dispatch fee of $59.00 dollars - that is not deducted from the final cost of the job. (They do tell you about this in advance.)
We paid over $400 for a simple kitchen sink PVC trap replacement. This included maybe $50 in parts. The estimate the technician presented us with did not separate out labor and parts. The plumber, who was at our home for a maximum of one hour, would have had to have charged over $300 an hour.

So I am very disappointed to say that this business is unethical and how they set their prices is arbitrary and lacks transparency.
We'll never use them again, and I would discourage anyone reading this post from using them, unless you like the feeling of being gouged of your hard-earned money.
