I have had Plumb Genius out twice (via American Home Shield). Both times they have been very professional, knowledgeable and even when it wasn't their issue on the second trip-they steered me in the right direction and did what it took to make sure the diagnosis was correct. I will use them again even outside of warranty service!!!

Calvin came out and replaced a toilet for us. He was quiet, efficient and did a great job. I was really impressed because he left the bathroom cleaner than he found it. I would definitely use them again.

They came out to a rental property of mine with a clogged drain, and informed my tenant they couldn't clear the line, offering to scope the line the following day to find the problem. The next day, they came out, supposedly took a video of the line, and claimed it was completely blocked and or broken, and would need to tear out a bathroom vanity and part of the slab to repair the line. When I requested the camera footage, they told me they didn't save it because I didn't ask to see it when they made the appointment, and that it was an additional charge to view the footage myself. Total bill? Well over 300.00. For no solution.

Called Mr. Rooter the same day, clog was cleared in 22 minutes after arrival. Vanity and bathroom still in tact.

Horrible service. I had a dripping spout in my tub. My home warranty company sent them out. Steve, the plumber, said oh this is easy. Done in just a few minutes. He said it was fixed and left. I turned my water on and I had water inside my wall going everywhere. Called them back and Steve came back. Turned on the hot water He then says I'm not coming back. I had to call another plumber and had to gut my shower tub combo costing my over $3000. And my house was for sale at the time. This is the end result of this company. Beware.

I am a typical homeowner, Plumb Genius was the subcontractor replacing a section of sewer line on behalf of a home warranty company. The day they were to arrive, I fell off a ladder and broke my back and had a bad concussion....so I never got to monitor their work or sign off as I was in the hospital all day. 3 weeks after the job was done, they told I owed $700 for a forklift rental we needed to do the job. Owner Mike had given me a verbal quote of $300 prior to the job, I agreed. I complained about the difference, and their owner went on a HUGE rant and was very threatening to me on the phone. I only kept reiterating in a calm voice that I agreed to pay $300 and he just screamed at me to pay $700......and they had never even sent me a bill. Well I paid it, not much I can do to fight it. Shocking call from their president, but oh well.

Went out today to turn on the sprinkler system in the front yard, found that they ripped out several sprinkler lines, left broken sprinkler heads buried in the dirt, and left me with broken lines throughout the yard and no way to know what's damaged without digging it all up by hand.

They did dig up the sewer line and replace 15 feet of it. But they also tore up 2 of our oak trees by ripping the limbs with the backhoe (would have been simple to saw before they started??), didn't even bring a ladder to the work site, left broken sprinkler piping laying in the yard, charged me more than twice agreed upon amount for forklift, and the president of the company yelled at me on the phone for 10 minutes and then hung up on me. I nearly called the police and filed a report as he was so threatening towards me on the phone. Had he shown up at my door like he threatened he would on the phone, I would have called the police to remove him.

My advice is STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. If you must use them, get all verbal quotes in writing, especially from the president Mike, and oversee their work if they did in your yard as they will destroy your sprinkler systems. If your home warranty company can send a different contractor, you would be very wise to request that.

Have nothing but great things to say about my experience ,first off out of list of service companies I contacted after 2 failed attempts Plumb genius actually called me back and had me on schedule immediately. I have had 2 appts in the last 2 weeks Skyler was Great and had me fixed up ,I followed up to have my tankless unit basic service and again am very pleased !

I wish there was a an option of giving no stars!! My home owners warranty that I pay for assigned me to Plumb Genius for a blockage in my main bathroom. After the first technician couldn't get his snake pass a certain point he told my husband and I there was something going on under the house and set up to have a camera run. Fast forward, the tech comes out to run the camera gives some story about the sewer line concrete has caved in along with a 1600$ quote for work NOT covered by the warranty but advised us to get other quotes on the job. What he didn't do was record his findings so the other plumbers coming to quote could see what he says he saw. He also didn't mark the the area or the main lines in the yard because according to the very rude receptionist he only does that if they're people are doing this over priced job. Her suggestion is that I pay the other Plummer who they suggested I get a quote from to run his own camera, after they've already been paid in full to do an incomplete job. Without any recording I don't believe he actually ran the camera since the 2 main things that would support his findings i.e. Marking the yard and RECORDING the footage weren't done. All 3 of the other plumbers that I've tried to get quotes from all say what was typed up as the recommendation doesn't make sense l guess It's only supposed to make sense if I'm willing to pay 1600! If you're reffered to this company RUN!!!! Especially if it's through your home warranty! They're all teamed up together to rip you off!

Plumb Dumb more like it! They were hired to do work at my house through American Home Shield. They ended up charging me for 2 service calls when I only made one, and they broke my garbage disposal. I had to give them a second chance to fix what they broke, but it still sounds horrible and they blamed it on electrical even though it was just fine before they touched it. The man they had come was rude and highly unprofessional, making personal calls when he was supposed to be working. He essentially refused to answer any questions I had about what he was doing and how to properly care for the item he was installing. Avoid at all costs!

Really need to research these guys before you let them work on anything. Bad reviews everywhere. No idea how they have an A+ rating with the BBB. They have 25% positive and 75% negative reviews on the BBB and somehow that is an A+ rating? Really makes me question the BBB.

These folkes are very confused. The office says one thing and the plumber they send out says another. Service ended up costing me 75% more than what they told my wife and myself. NEVER AGAIN!!!
