I am landlord of a single family house. I requested a screen on an intake vent to a tankless water heater to be cleared and the heater flushed. They came, cleaned the screen, charged me $288 and then said they would come back for the water heater flush. They could have cleared the screen in 5 minutes while or before the water heater was being flushed. Clearing the vent would have taken 5 minutes total. They took advantage of me because I do not live in the area. This is corrupt behavior and I do not accept it. I will be providing reviews on other platforms as well.

Plumb Fit did a great job installing a new Toilet for me on 6/5/2024. I contacted Amber to get a quote to install another new Toilet, Bathroom Sink and a Faucet. I received the quote immediately and scheduled the installation service. Hugo and Mark performed the installation and were very friendly and professional. They did an excellent job! I would highly recommend PlumbFit company for any plumbing repairs.

I hired Plumb Fit to install a pedestal sink . Duke Zukowski went above and beyond to take on this project. He even installed a drawer that had been knocked loose in the accident that broke the existing sink. He was polite, friendly and efficient. He noticed my toilet was running and fixed that too! Because of his service and that of the estimator and reception desk they have made a customer for life!

I had to have all my outgoing drain pipes in/under the house replaced. I received multiple bids, and even though there was another company that I got a better vibe from, I went with Plumb Fit for 3 reasons. The reasons I decided to use them were: they were recommended by multiple people in my area, they said they would replace the drywall (put drywall up, not finish), and they had the best warranty. The estimate from Plumb Fit was the highest amongst the bids I received. The estimate process was a little sales pitchy, which I'm not a fan of at all, but it's what some companies do.

Communication with the office manager was always good. I'm not available to make phone calls most of the day, and she had no issue communicating with me in a timely manner via email and text. That might be the only praise I have.

My issues/complaints might be petty to some, but I have high expectations of those I hire. Here are my issues:

They did not pull a permit to do this work even though it's required by the city. Sure, that's not an issue if everything goes fine, but should something go wrong with the plumbing they worked on and I had to file an insurance claim, homeowners insurance would require the permits to be pulled and approved. The only reason they ended up pulling the permit was because I stated I wanted an inspection of the completed work. When I requested this, the tone in the email from the owner came across with some attitude/irritation (who knows, maybe I read it wrong).

They did not replace all the P-traps, or put drywall back up like they said they would.

They were not clean - hand prints on walls, doors, and closet, and poorly wiped up messes on the floors. Used one of my bathroom towels to attempt to clean up one of their messes. They scratched up the toilet seat lids. They threw away the bolt/screw covers to one of the toilets.

I wasn't happy with the work done for the washing machine as there was a good amount of plumbing sticking out from the wall. I let them know that if it couldn't be contained with it the wall like it was previously, I'd like to to go back to how it was originally. For me, that meant the plumbing is contained within that section of framing like it was originally. Instead, they cut out a stud in a load bearing wall. REALLY wasn't happy about that. I feel they should check with the owners before making a decision like that. The mess they made and left after that seemed pretty intentional. Gunk all over the washer, dryer and floor, washer left unplugged and not moved back into position, pieces of plastic piping all over the garage floor, knocked over a lamp in the garage and left it, and didn't put the cover back on the water main.

I'm also not sure if they did a water test when they were done because it took 4 attempts of us running the water in the main bathroom tub before it started to drain properly.

I am reminded of this work daily because the toilet is no longer stable, and they did something to my cold water supply line to the washing machine so it leaks now.

We were not home when this work was being done. The day of the inspection was the first time I was home and able to meet the plumbers and they didn't even say ""hi!""

I would never recommend this company.

Love this company. I got a couple bids for work on a burst hose bibb from this winter (I had a patch on it, but no water for outside) - also wanted to add a hose bibb to our backyard. Jason and Joe came out, quickly worked up a quote and the job was theirs.

It's a little bit of a complicated story, but at the end of the day - we had to move the placement of the bibb - I told their crew where I wanted it installed over the phone from my office (not onsite). They installed RIGHT where I told them to, everything worked great, but when I came home, esthetically, I didn't like it. I called Jason, talked out the issue and was 100% prepared to pay for the crew to move the bibb, as they had done EXACTLY what I had asked of them.

Long story short, they scheduled the crew to come back out, re-did the work and didn't charge me for it. MY screwup and they went over and above to make sure a customer was happy. 100% RECOMMEND PLUMB FIT.

Dawn and Duke and everyone else at Plumb Fit have been amazing. We are doing a kitchen remodel and their bid came in under the other competitors. They are professional, friendly, accomodating and informative. We have recommended them to our friends and will always use them for any plumbing needs in the future. Thanks Plumb Fit!!

Plumb Fit was recommended to us by Newcastle Life Magazine and I'm so happy I listened to their recommendation. We needed a huge job of having our main sewer line replaced and some various other plumbing updates to our basement completed. Joe was extremely quick to calling me and scheduling a time to come out. He scoped my line without charging me $500, like the other companies did. He then provided me with an extremely competitive quote then and there. They came out on Tuesday and started working the following Monday. I can't say enough good things about them, I recommend them to everyone!
