Home warranty company hired them to replace water valve in toilet. In the process the technician broke the porcelain. The technician said he would come back the next night with a new toilet. He showed up the next at 7 pm. He tried to pass a used toilet as a new one. Didn't work right, the bowl was scratched up and the top of the tank didn't fit the tank. The owner made several promises to get it fixed but never showed up.

This contractor was assigned by the home warranty company. The 1st mistake was the HW company assigning a contractor that lives over 2 hours away from the job. Plumb Doctor of Bloomington, IN accepted the assignment and completed the diagnostic appointment. The HW company approved the claim and ordered all parts. When we reached out to plumb doctor about making an appointment for installation. He never responded. I could see the read receipt on the text messages so I know he was getting the messages. When we finally were able to lock him into an appointment date soon after confirming he began to give us the runaround. The HW company, myself and my partner have tried over the last 8 days to communicate with plumb doctor about installing a water heater. We have texted and get no response until hours or days later. We have called and get no response until hours or days later. When we were able to talk with him he would give us a date and time but never show up. We have missed 2 days of work waiting for him to show up to an appointment he set. He just says things and doesn't follow through. He gives excuse after excuse of why he missed the appointment he set. A simple call to the customer to explain might help but he doesn't do that. He just leaves you guessing and wondering if he will show until you are finally tried of waiting and just go to bed. He never completed the job. I would not recommend his service. I wish the HW company would have read the other Yelp reviews before assigning him to my work order. I would have never hired him based on the two reviews that I found. If I could rate zero stars I most certainly would! I have every text and transcript between all parties involved should this review ever come be categorized as a false narrative know that it is all true and I have the documentation.

Dan came to repair our water softener that had been installed incorrectly; however, he must have known-or at least suspected that he cracked the pressure tank in the process because he did not return repeated calls or texts asking him to come and check the leak that started after the work he did.
