I was having an issue with one of my toilets constantly having to either plunge or use a toilet auger to clear. I began seeing roots come out when I would use the auger and had it came to a point where I had to contact a plumber. I called Plumb Doctor at 9:40a on a Monday and they were able to schedule someone to come out same day between 12-4. I was thrilled since this had been an ongoing issue. I was quoted a service charge of $49 to evaluate what would be needed to correct the issue. I was told I would receive a call prior to the person coming to my home. Cody called and stated he was 15 minutes away and this was at 12:20. Cody showed up in time as he stated. He used boot covers on his feet so not to track anything in my home. He went to work right away and found the cause of my intermittent blockage. I had a crack in pipe which was allowing a root to grow as it was being drawn to the water. He chopped up the root and cleared it out. He also reached in to the pipe and pulled out some more root to clear which you will see in pic below. I will need to have this pipe replaced and will work with my HOA on that piece but I am good to go for now. I will drop some root killer in there to help keep root at bay. This was very affordable job with my total being $256 which included the $49 service charge as well. Cody was professional and this company I highly recommend for their prompt service. Sat, Feb 17, 2024. our 4y/o Rheem gas water heater was damaged beyond repair due to a water leak. We read of Plumb Doctors being Local & Family owned with Good Reviews. 2 Very Nice Employees arrived w/in 2 hrs after our call. Employee Brandon told us what we were expecting: our Water Heater needed Replacing at a price of $2450.00 (3% more for Credit Card Use). We were in need of Hot Water & hired Plumb Drs. Job was done Neatly & Quickly. After some Online Research we found The Bradford White Heater cost was between $800-$1100 & Labor to Replace runs from $350 at Home Depot to $600 w/a FEW Plumbing Co. my husband immediately called Brandon (an Owner) re feeling OVER Charged. Brandon told him he would like to speak with 1 of the men who did the job & he would get back w/him after their conversation. It is Sun, Feb 18, NO Response. ADVICE: Make sure you do your Due Diligence before Allowing a Service to be Rendered. We have learned 1 phone call to Home Depot (OR Lowe's) would have been our Best Immediate Response.
