Attention all milford residents!!!! These people are the biggest hacks that's have ever practiced plumbing within our little town. They broke our barn pump allowed our barn to fill with water and told us we needed to pay for a full install through them. They are thieves and cons don't call

I hired this company to replace the drain and overflow drain in my condo's bathtub in August of 2011. The plumbers never properly sealed the gasket for overflow drain. My wife and I only took showers while living there, so we never detected the problem. We began renting the condo to a pair of tenants, one of which takes occasional baths. In September of 2012, we received a call saying water was leaking through the bathroom ceiling of the condo downstairs, causing some minor damage (which I fixed). We thought it might have been caused by a loose toilet, but when it happened a second time in early November, we were able to identify that the cause was the overflow drain of the tub. Plumb Crazy sent out someone to inspect the overflow pipe and gasket, taking pictures. They acknowledged it was not properly sealed, but refused to accept any blame for the problem, claiming that they had no way of knowing if my tenant or I had tampered with the drain. This seemed absurd to me, as I'd hired the plumber so I wouldn't have to mess around with the plumbing. My tenants were also shocked at this statement, as there was no reason for them to touch anything either. As far as we could tell, the only way to tamper with this would be to loosen the screws in the overflow cover inside of the tub, something neither of us would have a reason for doing. When I pressed this issue, the manager said they only warranty their work for 1 year, so we were out of luck. This warranty is not stated on their website, probably because people would be shocked to hear that a plumber only guarantees basic repair work like this for such a short time. The manager went on to say that they would fix the issue, but I would have to pay for the work. Obviously, I had no intention of hiring them again given their incompetent work. From doing some research, it seems like the screws simply need to be tightened to make a proper seal with the gasket for the overflow drain. Why they would put up such a fight to fix this for free was mind-boggling. This also caused some minor paint/plaster damage to the bathroom ceiling in the condo below, which I'd already fixed once. Plumb Crazy refused to fix this damage, which was caused by their incompetent work. None of the repair work would cost much money, so it was surprising that they'd exercise such poor customer service when they had clearly caused this problem in the first place.
