I hired Joey, the owner of Pleasant Lanier Plumbing to install a commode that I purchased during the first week of August. He did so & I was pleased.Then he agreed he would install 2 additional toilets every two weeks for me. He texted me on September 1, 2020 that he would be over Wednesday of last week to install 2nd toilet.He never called or showed up.I have texted him 5 times since, called him numerous times (each time voicemail was full & couldn't leave a message) & I even even left a message on his web page. It is without trepidation that I say this is extremely unprofessional, upsetting & disconcerting.

We moved to our new home and after 6 month our water heater tank started leaking (new home had an in-line Fula tank setup and one was leaking) We got few estimates from different companies for replacement but Joey Albritton was the best! He came to our home free of charge assessment and gave us how much is the full cost to replace one or both water heaters. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and the estimate his company was very reasonable and was far better than competitors.
He even explained to us where is he going to get the water heaters and not from Home Depot or Lowe's A true Humble Plumbing supplier and that made us really comfortable.. We highly recommend this company for anyone with confidence!!

For more than 2 years, I've had problems with a blocked AC drain line. I've had 9 contractors out (via home warranty companies). AC people blame the plumbing. Plumbers blame the AC. No one fixed anything, and the warranty company wouldn't cover it because it was now "pre-existing." I called around to find someone who could just replace the drain line. Was referred to Joey Albritton by another AC company who was outside of my service area.

I've had a lot of experiences with plumbers and AC techs. This was by far the best. Completely professional, took care of the problem, installed a new drain line (correctly), added a t-pipe so I can actually pour bleach in it for maintenance so it won't clog again. And the price was completely fair.

Surprised not to see this business on Yelp yet, happy to leave the first review.
I called Pleasant Lanier to come and fix a leaky shower drain, after giving up trying to fix it myself, as reaching for the drain locknut from the kitchen ceiling turned out to be complicated.

After a first quick visit, Joey came up to the same conclusion that fixing the drain would not be as quick a job as expected, and would need to come back another day with more tools to get the job done. The initial quote also went up as a result, but still within the range of reasonable.

We rescheduled for a couple of days later, and with the addition of the extra tools and new ideas, they were able to unlock the current drain to replace it with a new one within an hour.

Overall, very positive experience:
- Responsive over phone and text messages
- Showed up within time window with advance notice
- Price went from low end of reasonable to high end of reasonable between initial and final quotes, but still reasonable overall
- Quality work, no corner cutting
- Took the time to explain the different steps, as I was interested in understanding the details of the repair
- Paperless invoice (email), communication over text messages if desired... good use of modern communication often lacking from most contractors

The company is based in Summerwood, and a very good option in my opinion if you have plumbing needs in the Lake Houston area.
