Ruben is the best! We have called Platinum Plumbing twice in the last two years, and both times Ruben was friendly, efficient, and reliable. During his first visit (March 2020), Ruben pointed out some issues with our pipes that allowed us to immediately diagnose the problem when it happened again (October 2021).
He quickly answered our phone call and was able to schedule a visit in less than 24-hours. He was in-and-out in under a half hour, and was friendly and cordial throughout. Plumbing issues are always stressful, but Ruben made it as easy on us as possible. He has become our go-to plumber!

I would give then -5 stars if possible. Horrible customer service. Never fixed anything and no update. AHS send them and they did not fix anything and left me hanging for over 10 days.

Ruben was assigned to me by my home warranty company. He responded within the time frame assigned and showed up promptly on the day of the appointment. He was courteous and professional. I'd give him 5 stars but he couldn't actually resolve my issue--that's because he doesn't service the brand of water heater that I own. I blame my warranty company for sending the work order to the wrong company. Ruben offered to subcontract it out and felt bad that my warranty company wasted 24 hours of my time with no hot water coming into a long holiday weekend. Nice guy.

Where to start! AHS assigned Platinum Plumbing to service our faucets but Ruben from Platinum Plumbing thinks he is doing public service at free of cost and it's his will and his comfort to resolve the customer issue. By the way, I have never ever seen anyone behaving the way Ruben behaved and ZERO professionalism. I wonder if he knows spelling for customer or service.

Please avoid this service if you warranty provider assigned. Please.

I did called warranty company to block Platinum plumbing for my future services, please do so upfront.

-5 We called another plumber after the faucet started gushing minutes after Ruben left and the owner, Kevin, said it was ""a coincidence"". The faucet would've magically broke minutes after Ruben left...Hmmm... Actually, the new plumber said Ruben broke something and it will cost $500+ more to fix. On top of that, it was Ruben's second visit. The first time he was appallingly rude and we had a spare part that he said didn't work. When the new part came in, he didn't let us know, we had to call to follow up and when he came it didn't fit. Maybe he ordered the wrong part. Then he asked for the old spare part we already had (that didn't work the first time) and it still didn't work. But did I mention the water was gushing minutes after he left and the new plumber said he broke something.
On top of the rudeness, not following up with us when new part came--this is Horrible. I'd like to get a written statement from the new plumber and sue them for the repairs because the new plumber said our old spare part actually would've worked if Ruben hadn't broke our faucet. They were called from American Home Shield and word to the wise:
***Always check the reviews of whomever your Insurance company calls (Even if there's an Emergency) Because if they have all 1 star reviews *Ahem *Ahem Platinum DO NOT ACCEPT THAT POORLY RATED COMPANY!!!

Because after 2-3 weeks, it's actually worse & more expensive!!!

Now we're thinking of cancelling American Home Shield...

Anyone know of an insurance company like AHS?

Unprofessional! Warranty was assigned to him 1 month ago, I understand that contractors are super busy so I waited 2 weeks and called him. He came out 3 days later and said that he was going to reach out to the warranty company for authorization to repair the shaft for the shower handle. I waited and waited for another 2 weeks and finally called my warranty company FAHW for the status update. They had heard nothing from him on the claim so they tried to reach him via phone and email for 2 days, no response. I was told that I had to call for a status update for 3 days before they would reassign the work order. On the 3rd day after it had been escalated I was told that they had heard from Platinum and was told that I was at fault-I yanked too hard on the shower handle causing it to break (not normal wear and tear), so the claim was denied and the warranty company refuses to send out a second contractor. Horrible!

Unresponsive. Non professional. Do not return calls or emails. Tried to talk me into paying more than the deductible on home warranty with AHS.

My plumbing job assigned to them form AHS remains unfixed for a month and even the warranty company doe snot seem to be able to reach them.

worst customer service .. they don't know how to treat a paying customer. just horrible....stay away. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

they just don't have professional courtesy and decency period. Called for an appointment and was told they will call in 1 hour..... 3 hours no call .. so called them again he said they will call back in 6 hours .. really!!! Are you providing service to us or the other way around. If you cannot handle business stop menacing customers who need help.

I had to get the issue reassigned to another provider.

I gave Ruben the benefit of the doubt when i read the reviews, he showed up and all the one stars are right, what a piece of work. He spent 10 seconds at the water heater and gave no explanation, two days later the extended warranty called and said we need a water heater but there is a lot of additional charges because the heater is modified, yet everything is factory, the extended warranty put the last water heater in and there is no modifications at all, this ruben guy called me and yelled at me on the phone and made up some bs about having to move the new water heater which is a lie as it sits on a stand from when the house was built, now requested a qualified plumber from the extended warranty, ask for a different company. I had to block ruben as he was abusive on the phone and if he shows at the house, will will call the police
