Would not honor their proposal. Don't waste you time on
They Came out looked at my job gave me a written proposal to replace my ac system.
I agreed to the proposal with one request, could I put 1/3 down as outlined in PA state law instead of the 50% they proposed. They said no and said they no longer wanted to do the job.

Well done you show someone had concern about being ripped off, apologized for being rude because you reneged on doing the work.
Bottom line. Don't count on Platinum.

It's hard these days to find a company that calls you back to do work. Especially when it's an emergency. I can't say enough great things about this company. Their customer service is spot on. The installers are so kind and polite. I own a business and we needed heat and quick, we cut hair so we didn't want our clients head to be cold . They came right away. Even though i wasn't heir current customer and checked in on us after it was fixed. I called them because i wanted to shop local and support local business. Best thing I have done for my business in a while. Would recommend them

Around midnight last night I found my utility area to be all but flooded from my leaking hot water heater. I remembered seeing a Platinum truck in my neighborhood a few days ago and decided to give them a try since I didn't have a regular plumber.

I really enjoyed the fact that an actual person answered and let me know a plumber would be calling me back soon, rather than going through an answering service. About 10 minutes later the phone rang and a very polite gentleman was able to calm me down and walk me through the steps to turn off the water to the hot water heater. He then offered to come right out - it was after midnight! I chose to have him send someone this morning instead, and he let me know someone from the office would call me by 8am to set up an appointment.

As promised a woman from the office called me just before 8am this morning. I told her I would be home from 2pm on, which she said was not a problem and they'd call me when the plumber was on his way.

Around 2:45 I got a phone call that a tech was on his way, and the best part is they informed me he even had a new unit on his truck since the hot water heater most likely needed to be replaced. Within 30 minutes he arrived and I really can't say enough good things about him! He made me feel so relaxed and didn't pressure me at all. He explained what he needed to do any why and answered all of my questions with great patience. After speaking with friends and neighbors I feel that the pricing for the work was very fair. I found out some people pay a lot more than I did for a similar installation, and mine came with a better warranty!

About 2 hours from the time he walked in he was finished installing the new hot water heater. When he left I realized my utility closet somehow looks even cleaner than it did before! He did an amazing job on the installation and cleaned up so well it was like nothing ever happened. I was thrilled with my entire experience with this company and couldn't wait to write this review.

I do find it strange that the only reviews shown on Yelp are outdated and awful. I'm glad I didn't have time to check here first because it might have discouraged me from calling on Platinum and I am so very glad that I did. I scrolled through the 12 ""not recommended reviews"" and find these are more in line with what I experienced when I hired Platinum. I don't usually review home service companies on Yelp, but I couldn't resist after I saw their current one-star rating.

This company is THE BEST and I would highly recommend them to anyone for their plumbing needs! I'm going to use them for my air conditioner service this summer and will update my review after that experience as well.

I am 100% satisfied!!! I contacted Platinum through Home Advisor's website. Within 5 minutes of leaving my request for service, I got a call from Kevin. That was the first good thing. I was able to describe my needs over the phone and Kevin said he would schedule someone to come out and look at my issues (toilet replacement, toilet repair and garbage disposal repair.) Kevin gave me an estimate over the phone!!! While I knew things could be different once someone arrived at my home and saw the situation for themselves, I was so happy that Kevin could give me an idea of what the costs would be. Within an hour, Matt arrived at may home. Matt is thorough, professional, receptive to questions and feedback, and is very pleasant. He explained the repairs to me and offered alternatives. The long and short of it - the work was done the same day, the price was exactly what Kevin quoted, the work was done well, and I am completely satisfied (which is not an easy thing for me to say!) Here's another thing that I LOVE - they price the work by the job, not by the hour!!! I am happy know that I have found a plumber I can trust, that is reasonably priced and does good work. It can't get much better than that!!!!!

I recently had a major plumbing project completed by Platinum Plumbing and Heating, and they did a great job. Kevin gave a competitive quite through Home Advisors, and when more work was discovered, he still kept the costs down. His company kept on working when my wife and I had to leave the house on a medical emergency, which is the highest level of trust you can put in a contractor. They did a professional job, and now everything works. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Last night we had an emergency. I walked into my kitchen and noticed that the sinks were filled up with disgusting, murky sewer water. I walked to my bathroom and there too, was a sink and toilet filled with sewer water. I immediately called Platinum Plumbing and explained (with much panic in my voice) what I was seeing. Andy was wonderful. He calmly asked me several questions to better understand the issue. He offered to either come out right then (it was about 9:00 at night) or we could wait until the morning as long as I did not use any more water. He did not pressure me to do one over the other and let me make the decision. I opted to have him come out that night. He was thorough in his investigation of the problem and was quickly able to identify the best solution. He cleaned the drain and had us back up and running that night! We had a pipe that was angled incorrectly that was causing an issue (along with so-called flushable wipes). Andy said that although he cleaned the drain, if we did not have the pipe angle corrected, we would run into the same issue in the future. He said that Kevin would be out first thing the next morning to fix it. Kevin arrived on time, was extremely nice, worked efficiently and cleaned up everything afterwards. Its as though we never had a problem and its only about 12 hours after it happened! Thank you Platinum Plumbing. This is THE plumbing service to call. They are knowledgable, polite, efficient, fairly priced and clean ~ the best! This is now the fifth time I have used Platinum and I will recommend you to anyone that I can!

On time, on budget and all things are considered in the estimate, so no surprises either. The people are courteous and respectful of you and your home, so they leave the place clean as well. I wouldn't use anyone else.

We called Platinum plumbing to repair a lose faucet in our bathroom. The repair was scheduled three days later. Their plumber arrived and told us that he did not have any washers on his truck and if he had to go back to his shop,less than a mile away, it would cost us anther $100. He ended up tightening the broken washers and charging us $100 for 15 minutes of work. The next morning the faucet was lose again. No more platinum for us.
