I wished I could give 0 stars...
My recommendation is to go with another company...I made the mistake of selecting the ""cheaper"" quote and I am regretting my decision. I hired them to install new combo unit (Navien) and 2 wall mounted mini splits in my apartment.
Here is a list of mistakes / inefficiencies working with Platinum Home Services:
1) They never close the permit with the town. It was closed only after my personal involvement with building inspector.
2) The combo unit Navien was installed incorrectly and a slow but steady leak caused severe damage on the unit
3) Even after the unit was serviced by them and I asked specifically to check if the unit was ok - they failed to noticed anything was wrong
4) And yes, as many have pointed out here - the customer services is not useful and borderline rude.
I am not happy to write a negative review but their ""service"" or lack their off is causing me thousand of dollars in repair work that could have been avoided.

Platinum home services was contracted out to handle our broken heat pump this week. Their scheduling service repeatedly misunderstood and scheduled inaccurate arrivals. They said they'd reach out to schedule a time, they did not reach out and at 11:44a said they'd be there between 12-4. I was at work so called to say i could be there after 2. They made it sound like they'd put a request for that but never confirmed and nobody arrived of course. I called back and they were mad that I thought someone would come by because ""they said they couldn't get someone"". They told me to contact the original company that contracted them out but I could not because it's my landlords house so they were pissy about explaining that to me. I spoke to my landlord and they called this morning to schedule something, we confirmed together the availability. They called me to confirm and it was the wrong availability. I know it's not my landlords fault because we reviewed that together and they wrote it down. The company was frustrated again that the availability was wrong and now I have to wait another day or two for heat in this house. Give that phone scheduler person a vacation or pay someone more competent because she is just at her wits end and has no patience for simple questions, gets everything wrong, and just gets mad at customers when she is the incompetent one. Eff this company, haven't even been serviced yet
Shalaya T.Followed proper COVID procedures. Had some plumbing work done on a new home as well as furnace installation. Everything went according to plan. Fair pricing compared to other plumbing services in the area. Would highly recommend!
We were very satisfied with Platinum Home Services! We woke up to no hot water and a wet floor in the basement. I called, the office manager picked up within seconds, she was very informative and attentive to our situation. We had someone come out within 3 hours and a hot water tank was removed and replaced all in the same day! The price was right and the tech Chris was professional, very knowledgeable, and helpful in explaining the pricing in detail. He even vacuumed up some of our wet basement floor. Thank you, we will definitely be using you again.
Great Experience. Called over the weekend for a ""Service Plan"" call. They gave us a four hour window on Monday. Steve showed up at the three hour mark, located the issue, one trip to the van and ten minutes later fixed. Quick, courteous and professional. Even gave some great technical advice. Highly recommend.
Called Brookline office with no heat emergency,set appointment for next day with 4 hour window. Text received few minutes before end of appointment that technician running late. Technician never showed, no one called back after 4 messages and call center voicemails not to mention now after hours.. Guess they don't need the business!!! I definitely would never give them mine!!!
Very dissatisfied with the service we received from Platinum Home Services. Our ac was leaking and dripping into one of our bedrooms. We called Platinum to come out and look. The technician looked and said there was probably a leak somewhere and we would need an air leak test performed. Said it would cost $725 and we could put a downpayment down of $350 and they would come out and do it the following week. He said he temporarily fixed it and we would be good through the (very hot) weekend. An hour later, it was leaking again. Upon calling, we were told no one could come out until Tuesday of the following week. Desperate to have ac for the weekend, we called another company who came the same day, found the problem right away, fixed it and said there was no need for an air leak test. It hasn't leaked since and this was a month ago. We called Platinum asking for a refund and were told we'd get it minus the cost of the service call. After receiving nothing, we called again and were told the $350 WAS the cost of the service call and we weren't due any refund. Absolutely ridiculous we'd pay $350 when nothing was fixed. The office personnel told us we could ""try"" dealing with the owner and gave us his e-mail. We have him a chance to explain and work it out with us, but never even received a reply. So beware before using them, not sure they care about customer service.
Melanie B.Absolutely horrible service- don't follow directions for calling, take pictures of your Home to try to prove you weren't there, never called to set up appointment. The answering service family is rude, doesn't listen to the customer and was ZERO help. I am reporting this to Home Solutions. Absolutely awful experience and I will spread the word
Laurel M.It was a huge mistake, using this company. They installed a new furnace. It malfunctioned three days after it got up and running. Two techs on two days in a row couldn't find what was wrong. They charged me for something I didn't need, then wouldn't refund the money. They refused to fix all the problems they created, under the warranty, and the company I hired to fix it said Platinum did it wrong. Platinum blamed me and my condo association for what they did wrong. Check them on the Better Business Bureau first!!!!!
