I had planet plumbing come out to reseat my toilet. The price was about a hundred dollars more than the quote, which was fine. I asked for an itemized receipt for insurance (the one they gave me just had a lump sum, no explanation) and they said it was impossible, acted like I was asking for something really complicated. THEN, the toilet seat ended up rocking all over the place and leaking, so I had to bring in a different, more capable plumber, and pay the same amount again to them :( I've had good luck with them in the past, perhaps there have been changes in the past few years in management or something.

We have a 70 year old house in Longmont and with it came 70 year old plumbing. When we incidentally found a leak in the sewer pipe in the crawlspace (while dealing with problems with an outdoor faucet) we called Planet Plumbing. They sent someone to assess the problem right away, making sure we were up and running before the proper repairs were made. Chase and Josh came to the rescue and these guys knew what they were doing! It took a full day to make the repairs and we knew from the start what the estimated cost would be, even figuring in the ""worst case scenario"". These guys were efficient, personable and very neat. Worst case scenario did not happen and Chase and Josh did a wonderful job! The cost was less than we expected to pay, given the amount of work required. We HIGHLY recommend Planet Plumbing & they won't send a dummy!

There was a water leak in my basement, with the carpet all wet, and I needed it to be fixed as soon as possible. After calling a few plumbing companies, all of them requiring me to wait one or two days, the process with Planet Plumbing was a relief. I called and spoke to a receptionist who immediately contacted one of their plumbing techs. He reached out to me within the hour to let me know he was on his way to my house.
He was professional and courteous, and found the leak inside a drywall. It was a huge relief to have this pressurized copper line fixed without any delay.
I don't have much experience to compare prices, but they seem to be reasonable. I only wish that the receipt I received via email a couple days later was more detailed. The tech had told me about the hourly rate (about $200) and that I'd have to pay extra for parts, which seems fair. He spent less that a couple hours, but the receipt didn't detail anything, only the total amount which reflected more that 2 hours. I understand that he had to cut drywall and replace the copper pipe, but it would make sense to show all of the specifics with prices on the receipt.
Also, plumbing can be really dirty, and even if the tech was very careful not to make a mess, it would be nice if they had stuff to cover their shoes to avoid spreading mud everywhere.
Still, these are small complaints. Once again the overall service was very smooth and professional, and I would use them again in the future!

Planet always gives me prompt, excellent, courteous service and I can't recommend them highly enough. Dan is my plumber, and he's installed a new water heater, a new garbage disposal, and a new kitchen faucet for me with no problems at all. All three installations were quick and perfect; it gives me peace of mind to know that I can call on Planet, and on Dan, when I need them and they'll be there promptly.

Planet Plumbing is my preferred plumber, and this week I was once again reminded of this. After my kitchen faucet's sensor stopped working entirely, I was in desperate need of a replacement. Ryan from Planet Plumbing came to the rescue. He was at my house within two hours of when I called and was friendly, professional, and efficient. I highly recommend Planet Plumbing!

Aaron was here last week to take care of a bad clog. I think between booking the appointment and arrival, twenty minutes passed. He was fast, efficient, neat, funny, and totally respectful. Haven't had a single issue with the drains, since! Excellent experience. :)

James was the technician who responded. He was on time, extremely knowledgeable, and completed the job quickly and professionally. He was extremely pleasant to deal with.

The price was fantastic- way less than the price quoted by our previous company which was ridiculous.

I will be using them for any and all future plumbing needs, although I hope there aren't anymore anytime soon.

We had Planet Plumbing out to replace the thermal expansion tank on our hot water heater and had a terrific experience. Russ and Kenny arrived on time and got the job done quickly within the estimated time window I was provided with when scheduling the appointment. They were polite and friendly and happily answered a couple other plumbing questions I had about our house. Thanks to Russ, Kenny, and Planet Plumbing for providing great service.

My property manager was notified of a leak in the kitchen faucet and called Planet Plumbing. The plumber diagnosed the leak and determined the faucet needed a new cartridge and got approval to replace cartridge. The bill was $505 for that simple fix. A year later that entire faucet had to be replaced and it cost only $367 by a handyman - which prompted this review. Plumbers should never handle simple jobs. I advised the property manager to never use Planet Plumbing for this property again.
