I couldn't agree more with the other reviewers regarding the length of time it takes to make an appointment and the several no shows from the contracted companies. It's extremely frustrating and the customer service representatives can't do much other than make an appointment.
The blame for the no show was passed around and no one seemed to care.
I do not recommend this program. Too bad, it used to be great.
I would give them zero stars if I could. I have been paying for this service for years. I reached out twice to schedule an appointment but did not get a follow up and was not able to make an appointment. I also submitted the contact form on line and NOTHING. I wish I could get years worth of month payments back.
Sumit G.They used to be great but something changed. I just had an AC repair scheduled which was a nightmare in itself with cancelled appointments that I had no idea were cancelled till after a no-call-no-show.
The second (or third, I cant remember) scheduling did come to diagnose the issue. They informed us their previous technician from the previous Fall had left the flue pipe disconnected which was venting carbon monoxide into our crawl space and if it wasn't for our second unit sucking in the air around it and venting that we would probably be dead. Not hyperbole, the quote from the tech was ""Im surprised you're still alive"".
Next that tech told us the blower motor was burned out and that due to the age of the unit we should replace it. During the process of getting competitive quotes for a replacement another HVAC tech said the blower was fine and it was just missing a screw mounting it securely to the unit.
Im going through the process of getting refunded. I don't feel great having spent over $1000 in the fall for repairs that apparently could have killed us.
Do not use them.
Existing customer for many years. Called today, thursday, gave them my customer number to assist the agent. Wanted to get my 2 a/c set up for summer. It took 48 minutes to set up my appointment thru countless questions, and many ""hold on"" and waits. Woman I talked to was very hard understand ( poor English ) and the phone line was atrocious, buzzed and faded in and out. Same thing happened on my furnace setup last year when I called. Looking now to replacement this service with a different company. I think they keep changing their name hoping people will not check them on yelp.
i have signed up with pivotal home solution in oct. 2024 for the sewer and water line package, was approved within 30 days as stated. i filed a claim in nov. 2024 . they sent out a company called center guard plumbing came out provided the rodding of the sewer line. called them 2 weeks later same issue. did the rodding again. called them again same issue did the rodding again. 2 weeks later same issue same company came out and rodding the sewer line. found out the the sewer was broken in my crawl space. which i had to pay $1340.00 center guard plumbing and pivotal stated i was not covered , which is false this is part of the warranty i pay for, i had to complain with them to get them to pay for it. which they did pay $500 of it. 2 weeks later main sewer line backed up again. they rodded it again. i received a phone from pivotal stated they will deny all future claims unless i install a cleanout outside, which i have ( see picture) i have one already in my garage. center guard has informed pivotal this has been deemed limited access because it is in the garage. this a breach of contract stay away from both companies center guard plumbing and pivotal they are unethical and do not provide the service that i pay for.
Can't even get someone that speaks good English on the phone. Smfh. Sorry I can't understand your thick a$$ accent. Ridiculous. And then the people they send out suck a$$! Canceling soon because they don't like to pay warranties. But they love collecting their monthly payment. Pivotal absolutely sucks now!
This company makes appointments for services but doesn't show up or give a courtesy call to inform you of any changes. Poor customer service .
This service used to be great. They now outsourced their customer service overseas and the level of service has dropped tremendously. It takes a while to get verified (email address, mailing address, phone number, etc.) After that, the agent wants to tell you everything you have on your plan from top to bottom (this is every time you call them).
Once you make it through this gauntlet and make your request the agent repeats everything you've said, so be patient. Once you get past this you make your claim and be sure to get an email confirmation. If you don't get this the claim did NOT go through. I've been through this twice when I was told my claim was set up but I'm sitting at home waiting for a technician that was never properly scheduled.
The biggest issue is keeping all of your paperwork. If you do happen to pay for an appliance out of pocket and submit the claim form with the receipt for reimbursement, be prepared because they are going to tell you they never got the receipt. Be prepared to resend your receipt two or three times. I've been through this on three separate occasions for claims. They will try not to reimburse you if they can avoid it.
Lastly, if you are grandfathered in on the original plan, do NOT make changes to your plan or let them kick you off of it. It has great benefits, you just have to know how to play their game and be very persistent. Also, your cost to stay on the plan will increase every 6 months like clock work so USE THE PLAN when applicable! Good luck.
I had been a customer for several years and originally they were a good company. My original service only covered my heating system and ac . The price was very reasonable along with good service. Somewhere along the line l was grandfathered into my plan . Along came a renewal bill for almost 500.00 as l had only been paying 200.00 annually I was shocked. Thats when the company got ugly . Initially l was told sorry they couldn't do anything ! But after they did some checking "" l was grandfathered into my old plan ""? After some back and forth we arrived at a annual rate of 206.00 per year. I paid that. Then 2 months later l got another bill for a service that l NEVER ordered ! Today l find out after multiple calls or multiple months l was canceled !! The would take off the error they made and l could sign up again BUT the grandfathered plan was no longer offered.........Sorry after this experience l would NEVER recommend them to anyone..
