The M.Dishonest and never came back to the problem that he created. Don't recommend!
He failed to install the boiler once and created another problem with my heating system.
M P.Omg i didn't know i was working with the cheats.. they trapped me by saying they are waving off the visit charges and eventually charged me double.. i took quote for the same from other plumber and they gave 50% less.. the job was only to replace a under sink pipe.
Its so horrible.. stay away from these people.
Erik Maher took the deposit, came and did minimal work and then disappeared. HE NEVER APPLIED FOR A PLUMBING PERMIT. I took him to court, and he insisted, as a condition of returning my money, that I withdraw the complaint with the NJ plumbing board. I found that the NJ plumbing board FINED HIM FOR THE EXACT SAME THING.

The WORST plumbing and heating company EVER! Erik (Pipeworks) started off professional (recommended on Home Advisor when I put out my job for quotes) and when I chose him to do the work, he would do piece meal by piece meal knowing that he has dismantled my furnace and I have no alternative but to rely on him to finish since no other HVAC contractor would want to pick up where he left off. He would not reply to text msgs or calls and the appointments he schedules are usually no shows or comes so late he would only work for 30 mins and then say he would have to come back tomorrow which on many times, never does. In the end, I had to pay someone else to finish the job. It looks like they are no longer recommended on Home Advisor!
Absolutely the WORST contractor I've ever dealt with! RUN from Erik and Pipeworks, they delayed my bathroom renovation for well over a year. Failing to show up for scheduled work days over 15 times that I can document and when he actually showed he never once did ANY work at all, he has a helper who actually did the work. He's also the only contractor involved in the project that demanded 60% up front (that should have been the only red flag I needed) So after the hell of dealing with this guy and the inability to ever get him to return a call or text I finally had a real plumber come in and finish the job in ONE day.
Run, don't walk from this company. 4 day project, incomplete 23 days later. Never cleaned up, never delivered faucets I paid for, and you can never talk to the owner. Got money upfront and never completed the job. Ask other plumbers about him, and they just shake their head, and fix what he started in the owner's home. $15,000 in boilers in 6 years. Stay away.
They came to swap out two leaky valves in my shower and snake a slow drain on 10/15/15, second time I've used pipe works since moving to Oradell from NYC. The owner Eric seems very nice, experienced, and reasonable. Work was done quick, neat no bull. I would recommend. With any good quality company, they could get busy, so be patient. They will get there and get it done right!
