These guys used to be amazing and they do show up but $125 to clean a slow bathroom drain is not my idea of a fair price. Nor is the way they make you feel lucky when they can fit you in. I guess when a company gets well known they think those of us on a budget don't count.

I am a landlord with repeat business.

For that price just abt any plumber picked blindly from a list will do.

These guys were great. I had had a huge problem even finding a plumber to answer the phone or call me back, but the lady I talked to at pipes r us was very nice and scheduled my appointment while I was on the phone with her. They came out the next day and called to let me know they were on the way. They fixed my toilet and the price was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend.

So I just bought a house and wasn't entirely ready with the small staff of handy-people I would soon need (gardeners, contractor, electrician, etc.). So when I awoke to shortly thereafter find the upstairs shower backing up, and flooding, my downstairs shower, I yelped for the closest plumber.

Pipes R Us is right by my house and the woman who answered the phone could tell I was panicked. She had Brandon come out that afternoon to see where the clog is. He concluded it was in the city pipes so I called S&WB and Brandon, very nicely, did not charge me anything for the visit.

Fast forward a week, I receive the ultimate passive aggressive letter (21st century, I think not!) from the S&WB stating that the clog is indeed my problem because it's a 1.6 feet within my property line. Lame. But never fear, I have a plumber now! I scheduled a time for Brandon to come out to figure out this mythical clog.

He is always so polite and efficient! He ran the cable and got it all taken care for a really great price! I definitely recommend them, plus their slogan is ""let us peep in your pipes"" which deserves your business all on its own :)

Fixed an issue. It broke again a few months later. They used the wrong part. Another plumber showed me why it broke.

We've paid them all but $500 (per their contract). Subsequently they caused more damage to our house than we owe them on our bill (neglected to brace a tub prior to setting it - forgot to run water for the refrigerator prior to sheetrock being installed - leaking washer faucet ruined sheetrock in washroom etc) . Because they owe us money they've decided it's not worth their time to finish the job and have left us with the problems of no hot water in kitchen - no water pressure in kitchen - $2000 garden style tub won't drain, etc. Now we're being forced to file complaints the Louisiana Plumbing Board (which will only serve to check their current insurance and licenses), with the BBB and then we're lucky enough to hire another plumber to finish their work and hire an attorney to sue these guys. Do yourself a favor, hire a reliable plumber. Wish I would have checked these idiots out better prior to giving them well over $10,000 !!!!

We are very happy with the service. We had a broken sewer line, under the slab. The estimate from Pipes R Us was $1,000 less than the three places we tried. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. The plumber was out the same day to make sure we were able to us the plumbing, at no extra charge. The work was completed on time and for the price quoted. The plumber even repaired one of the toilets at no extra charge. We highly recommend this company.

My realtor made an appointment with them to come out on a Tuesday at noon. I was working, so my dad said he would be there since I was unable to. My dad cancelled his plans to be there. I ended up being able to leave work early to be there for the inspection. It's 1205 and my dad texts me saying no one is there. Ok, they may be a little late. I get home at around 12:40, still no one. At around 1, I double checked with my realtor on date and time and told her no one came. She called the office and did not tell me or my realtor that all appointments were cancelled for the day. Ok, I'll let it slide, the weather was bad due to the winter storm rolling through. Got rescheduled for Thursday the same week. It's my day off, appointment is for 730 am. I get up early, and wait. Nothing. At 830/900 no one had shown. I took my dog for a walk and saw a note on my front door saying ""Pipes R Us was here from 730 - 800. Call office to reschedule."" That's strange, I didn't hear a knock at my door. I called to reschedule and explained my situation. I guess I talked to the owner and he said the inspector did come and was knocking for 15 minutes, which did NOT happen. My house is VERY small and I can hear knocks from anywhere in my 600 square foot house. I told the owner this did not happen, and he told me ""I'm going to have to go with my guy on this because he is my main guy and he was knocking for 15 minutes."" This is was completely untrue! The owner lied to me, and basically called me a liar! This company is VERY unreliable and EXTREMELY unprofessional! I do not know of their work, but if you want professionalism and a reliable company to work with, Pipes R Us is NOT the company to use!
