Jay came within 30 minutes to root out my main line. He was affable, intelligent, and capable. We had conversations about future work, but only as initiated by me. He said he's done over 400 tankless water heaters, including one for my neighbor. I'll talk to my neighbor, and, unless you see an update to this review, that means Jay did good work for him. I'll definitely call Jay back when I've got more substantial work to do.

We will never call another plumber. Jay was by far the lowest price on numerous bids. He was so honest that he told us we did not need to jackhammer in to the foundation to replace a p-trap. He was on time every day, didi great work and all-in-all just a great person. After our tile guy began i needed Jay to cut off valves and cap them temporarily but he was unavailable within the next hour or so and he walked me through what I would need to buy at the hardware store and do it my self for under $12 and no welding. I couldn't believe it and neither could my tile guy. Any other plumber would have made me wait and charged me $95. I recommended him to my neighbors for an emergency fix and after the work was done, they left me a three minute phone message thanking me for bring Jay in to their household. You too will never call another plumber.

Our toilet was broken as water wouldn't fill the tank, and we broke the water valve beneath it trying to get the water to come in. I was searching for a plumber on Yelp, and found Jay at Pipeline Rooter & Plumbing. Based on the good reviews, I called him up. He was exactly what other reviewers had said, honest, professional, straightforwad, easy to communicate with, and gave me a decent quote over the phone. He showed up on time, was efficient, and the job was clean & professional. I breathed sign of relief, as we have a good plumber to call now!

Jay has been amazing! We've been using him for the 5 years at our home and at our business. He installed our tankless water heater and comes every year to flush it out. He re-did all the terrible plumbing that another contractor put into my office. He has installed my Delta touch kitchen faucet and a number of other plumbing fixtures in my house. He is my go-to guy for all things related to water!

Jay is actually the first plumber I've ever had to call as my wife and I had never owned a home before a few months ago. Everything before that I'd do myself.
We actually found Jay through Yelp. I was very skeptical of the reviews I'd read because nobody could ever be that good. I'm a believer now and use Yelp all the time because of Jay. He did the work throughout the house. He made the kitchen, and bathroom flow beautifully and took care of any extras he found as well.
Tell me how many plumbers you've hired that when they noticed that you didn't have cover-alls to work under your house gave you some new ones?

Jay is pleasant, funny and very good at explaining the work to be done. Making what he's doing very easy to understand and putting my mind at ease.

As a first time homebuyer I was really nervous about having any work done on my house. Would I know if the price was fair? Would I know if the people I hired were being honest with me about what was needed? Would the work be done properly? How would I know?

Jay helped ease my worries by suggesting that I email him a list of what needed to be done and photos of things I was unsure of. He replied quickly, gave me a quote for the work and agreed to come by the next day (a Saturday!) to take care of everything.

When Jay showed up I was immediately at ease - you can tell right away that this guy is honest and fair. Jay is all about his client and he not only explained to me what he was doing, why he was doing it and what it would cost - he also helped me by showing me how to do things myself instead of having pay someone else to do them.

I highly recommend Jay!

This guy is the only plumber I've had who ended up costing exactly the price he quoted me on the phone. He was also timely (he served in the military for 20 years), polite, and inexpensive. He came out on a Sunday at no extra charge. Plus, he guaranteed his work for 30 days. I don't have to tell you what a relief it was to have found my new plumber! I couldn't recommend him more highly. Most reasonable price to install a tankless water heater. Also Jay was honest enough to tell me we did not need a repair/replace a water line that would have cost $350 when in reality the faucet needed attention and not the line. Another plumber was ready and willing to charge me 30% more to install the tankless and to charge me $350 for a new water line. On time, honest, trustworthy, will definitely call again.
