BE CAREFUL ! Reading the small print on the receipt, it says ""There is no warranty provided with our services. We charge by the hour for our time and should we return to do addition work we charge our standard hourly rate."" Our bill was $265.10, which I paid immediately
Pipe Systems came to our home April 13 and replaced two outdoor faucets, I was told by the plumber Joe that he tested the new faucets for leaks and they were good. The weather was rainy, and we used the faucets the first time in late May when the weather was hot and sunny. When I turned the faucets on fully, water spurts out from a manufactured hole just behind the handle. Water quickly soaked my patio.
I called Pipe Systems,(answering machine) and texted sending a photo of the leak, before Memorial Day weekend, Jared returned my call the following Tuesday. He said Joe the plumber didn't work at Pipe Systems anymore, and that he didn't know what the hole was for, and that he would investigate and get back with me. He also said I would have to pay him again to come out and fix the problem.
Today is June 8, and Jared has not returned any of my calls or my text messages since. I am escalating the issue by requesting help from the CCB, 503-378-4621

We used Jared awhile back and he was great. Today we woke up to water coming through our ceiling. I called our insurance company and the water restoration company they wanted us to use Roto-Rooter to come out. I said no, I have my own plumber thinking of Jared. I much rather use a small business than a big chain.

Talked to Jared at 10a and he said he would have a tech come out in the afternoon and give me a call. I took the afternoon of work. Finally around 4p I called and texted and he responded they could come out until Monday. I had water coming through my ceiling and waited the entire day for this guy to come out. If ya couldn't make it work at least you could call me Soni coild find someone else. When I told him that wasn't what he said he continued to argue with me and state ""I'm sorry YOU misunderstood.""

I'm now ending up with Roto-Rooter because they work late and apparently come when they say. Maybe the big chains are the way to go because it's definately not worth the run around Jared gave.

I called Jared after having another plumber unsuccessfully snake a shower drain. The first plumber wanted to cut a hole in the drywall of my finished basement to access the drain and replace the P-trap. Since I had already spent 2 hours waiting for him to show up for our appointment without him bothering to call, I was not real excited about getting into a $400+ dollar repair plus hiring someone else to fix the ceiling. For a second opinion I called Jared and explained the situation. He was super nice on the phone, extremely knowledgeable about mid-century construction and willing to work me into the schedule. He explained that what the other plumber suggested might be necessary but he would take a look and let me know. When he came to my house, he was on time which is always a plus. He looked at the situation and asked about an adjoining closet, saying that would be an easier access point and then rather than repairing the drywall, he could just put in an access panel for any future work that might need to be done. Brilliant! Fortunately we never had to get that far because he was able to snake the drain through the roof vent, thereby clearing the drain simply. While he was there he also fixed the bathroom faucets that have been dripping for a very reasonable overall cost. I will gladly call Jared again for my next plumbing related repair.

Jered's services came recommended to me by a friend. He was very prompt in returning my phone calls. That's the positive. He 'worked me into his schedule' between jobs, which would have been great - if I didn't come out of the whole interaction feeling that I had been taken advantage of, in Jiffy Lube up-sell style. I had a leaky sink and turned off the water. When he arrived, we turned the water back on and for some reason, the sink no longer leaked. I was then talked into replacing my whole faucet, as 'You know as soon as I leave, it will start leaking again, and I don't have time the rest of this week to fit you in', when I asked if I could schedule a date later in the week, in the event that it did. He then told me it was going to be $105 just to look a the faucet, where nothing was apparently wrong. He said that probably a chunk of rust had gotten caught, limiting the ability of the faucet to shut off. I had guests coming, I was stressed and talked into him getting a faucet - yes. I told him I wanted input into what kind of faucet he was going to get, and he replied that they were 'pretty much standard', all the same, really. ?? Anyway, I paid way too much money to have him put in a new faucet that I didn't want and (eventually) could have put in myself. He 'took off' 15 minutes of time and didn't mark up the faucet the normal markup he does, when he buys things wholesale and sells them to his clients...(which is nice??) as I expressed my misgivings to him multiple times. I guess I appreciate that. Overall, I would never call him again, and feel that he took advantage of me, my situation, and being overwhelmed with the situation in the midst of the day. I feel gross and violated, and am really bummed! Yuck.

These guys are very good. I have an older home in the West Linn hills and I called them out to unclog an exterior subterranean drainline and check a noisy exterior faucet valve. After doing the drainline, they looked at the valve and tested and found excessive water pressure in my home. Jared suggested a pressure reducing valve which they picked up for me and installed a couple of days later. They also installed a new shut-off valve since mine never worked that well. Basically they solved several problems my house has had since I have owned it, as well as the original problem with the outside faucet. And the bill was very reasonable. The team I got were really sharp guys and the quality of the work was excellent. Highly recommended.
