I have cast iron pipes in my 50' built house. I've had many issues throughout the years and have always called a rooter company to cable and clear blockages. Unfortunately it never fixes the bigger issue - the scaled pipes. I called the Pipe Surgeons and they educated me on cast iron, did a camera inspection, then cleaned the pipelines removing the scale. I am so happy that I found the Pipe Surgeons, they were professionals and I highly recommend!

This is my very HONEST and STRESSFUL experience pipe surgeons. on 3/18/22 was for my camera inspection paid $989.00. On 4/4/22 was for jack hammering my floors and replacing part of the main sewer pipe under the house, which they said was the problem for my flood, I paid 6,500.00. During this time I was living outside of the home due to mold and water mitigation and having an unlivable situation for my family. After receiving a clean bill of health from pipe surgeons I started rebuilding my home back with my own money since my insurance did not cover plumbing back ups. After installation of my floors, drywall, paint, new doors, cabinets, counters and new area rugs, we were finally able to move back into our home. After living in the home about 6 weeks 2 more floods occurred from same location so I called pipe surgeon and On 11/11/22 paid $129.00, they came out and saw back up yet again which is what was supposed to have been fixed months prior by pipe surgeons. Plumber said they couldn't see because of the blockage so recommended jetting the pipes. The next day my home flooded so badly that I had to remove my newly installed floors and start drying everything immediately. I needed to call another plumber to unclog it because it was a Saturday, I called Freedom air and plumbing on 11/12/22 $468.87. I then received an estimate for the pipe jetting from pipe surgeons but was told over the phone by the owner that if in fact the job was not fixed that I would not owe them anything because of they're pipe surgeons promise. While the owner's plumber was at my house, he mentioned that the original plumber who did the job with pipe surgeons on 4/4 had been fired. Could that have anything to do with why my plumbing wasn't replaced correctly? The last invoice I received from pipe surgeons which was not expected was a whopping $2,200.00. I did not sign this estimate! This was supposed to be a jetting service that was not needed per pipe surgeons, after I had hired the other company to unclog my pipe on 11/12. I was unaware of this particular service, I was not home and was unaware that I was being charged. I have already paid for a camera inspection with the 1st invoice and was being charged again. But let me be clear, this bill came after I spoke with the owner who said he was going to get more information from his guys since he had no idea what my situation was about. He said I just needed to jet the pipes even though we established my pipes were good so I didn't have jetting done. He was rude and very disrespectful to me especially after having me on hold for 30 minutes and wouldn't listen to what I was telling him. He never intended on calling me back, instead he sent me the invoice that was clearly out of spite. I have made several attempts to get a hold of the owner for a solution to my plumbing issue but I have never received a response. I gave him every opportunity which was approximately 6 months to correct his mistakes and never heard another word. I have pictures of my home rebuilt after the initial flood and then having to rip out my brand new $12,000.00 floors. I was living in my home without the ability to do laundry for over a year until I had Drain mechanics come out and diagnose and fix the issue. Invoice reads that the belly was still present. Almost $9000 is what it cost me to fix what pipe surgeons failed to fix. I can't afford to redo everything again, I am a widowed mother of a Veteran with three young kids and have no idea what I am going to do. The included images of the smaller newly cemented floor were pipe surgeons and the one larger hole with dirt over it is the latest picture from drain mechanics. Included pictures of before and after rebuild so you can see how much time, effort and money was spent before it was all destroyed again. This is my HONEST AND TRUE statement of what occured from this company.

These guys are fantastic. Not only did they save us over $20,000, but they are professional, honest and very competent. Make these guys your first call. My wife and I were in the process of purchasing a house that was built in the 1960s. As part of our due diligence, we hired another plumbing company in town (Vero Beach) to inspect the septic system and perform a camera inspection of the main sewer line. They told us that the septic was bad and the bottom third of the cast iron pipe was totally gone, rusted away. Not only did they estimate the total cost of repairs at well over $20k, their process (full repipe) would have required cutting into and permanently damaging the terrazzo floors. But I got a little suspicious when this other plumber from the other company told us that he """"forgot his SIM card"""" and therefore could not share the video evidence of the degraded pipe. I called the other plumbing company directly, and they never returned my calls. I called Pipe Surgeons for a second opinion, and because they specialize in trenches sewer line repair (an option that might have allowed us to save the terrazzo floors). Right off the bat, I noticed a HUGE difference in professionalism, integrity and case. Don Miranda, the company owner, personally called me to discuss the job and spent 1 hour on the phone discussing the job and why in his view it was likely that the main line simply needed a good cleaning. The first crew (John & John) came out to perform the camera inspection, and they spent ~2 hours using high-definition cameras to check every inch of the line. Everything was recorded. Everything was transparent. They showed me (in HD) where the other plumber had incorrectly identified the rusted out bottom third of the main sewer line. Not a degraded, or broken pipe, just buildup of """"shoulders"""" from years (decades) of use without cleaning. They were upfront about the fact that despite that they saw no evidence of a broken, rusted out or failing sewer line, they would not know for certain until the pipes had been thoroughly cleaned. I found them very knowledgeable, trustworthy and compelling, so I hired Pipe Surgeons to perform the cleaning. The second crew (Eric and Patrick), came out to clean main sewer line about 1 week later. Again, I was impressed by the professionalism, work and diligence. They concurred with John & John, not likely a degraded line or broken pipe, just the wrong read from the other plumbing company. The entire process took around 8 hours, and again was recorded on video. The transformation of those old pipes was amazing. Totally round, clean and open. Water flows perfectly. They were right, not a broken / degraded pipe, just an old sewer line in desperate need of a cleaning. I cannot speak highly enough about Pipe Surgeons, Don Miranda, John & John and Eric and Pat. They have earned our business for life.

Our condo recently experienced a drastic increase in water usage and we determined we had an underground leak of about 1 gal/min, with no aboveground indication where it might be. Pipe Surgeons did a good job of locating the area of our leak; however, we had been told by the owner that they would have the tools available to actually begin the repair job once the leak site was located, and they did not. Instead, they came back two days later, cut through our concrete driveway, found the leaking pipe, attempted unsuccessfully to fix it using a slip-joint connector, then finally fixed it with four elbows and an offset section of pipe. Their technical work was satisfactory. The big problem is that we were told they operate on an hourly price structure. When they finished, they handed our on-site observer a tablet device and said """"sign here"""". A few days later, we got a bill for roughly 2-3 times the cost we estimated based on their hourly rates. The owner insisted either we had been told that the repair was a fixed cost service or one of his guys was going to get fired. Multiple attempts by our president and treasurer to discuss the issue with Pipe Surgeons were met first with resistance, and then by avoidance. If you're going to use Pipe Surgeons, be very careful to determine their price up front - not just for the leak detection, but for the repair as well.
