I have used Pipe Down Plumbing Services a couple times. They pretty much saved me when my outside well line broke. They came and fixed it so I was back in operation quickly...for a little while. Then a year later another section broke. They were able to come and fix the new break, but said they should have replaced the entire line. Why didn't they say that in the first place? Well, they said they were trying to save me money. A lot that did. I ended up paying double for something I could have had done more affordably in the first place AND the second they didn't recommend fixing my entire. Before they spent that extra couple thousand dollars, they did some ""tests"" by removing the check valve on my inside water pump. That didn't work so I told them to put it back. Recently, my well tank fell over due to the instability of the pump, and I was nervous because those lines could easily snap from the weight of the pump and flood my basement, which I just refinished. It was Saturday and Scott said he could help me on Monday, but he said there was no way he was going to take one of his men away from their families on a Saturday. I could wait until Monday or fix it myself. Fix it myself?? I told him that they were the last to work on my well pump, but he refused to believe he was at fault. He claimed people were in and out of my basement all the time and they were at fault. I told him no one entered that room when installing the new carpeting and the basement is not being used. He then blamed it on some ""vibration""? Come one, your guys screwed up and being the ""good customer"" you claimed I was, you couldn't arrange an emergency visit???

This plumbing service is AMAZING!!! Carl did a fantastic job installing a water softener for us and Scott got us on the schedule 3 days after the call. Carl was prompt, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. We are new to this part of the country and he took the time to explain how many things work, both related and unrelated to plumbing, and was nowhere near condescending. He was very understanding and a great guy. I will be having them out again to help with a gas line for my grill when it warms up a bit. Scott and Carl have a GREAT service and I will use them every time I need a plumbing service!

I normally only review things that are really terrible or really great. These guys are knowledgable, fast and reasonable. I wish I had known about Pipe Down sooner. Will definitely call them from now on.

Called scott at Pipedown with a clogged kitchen sink, agreed on next day between 2 and 4, Chris arrived at 230. Worked on stubborn clog for almost 2 hrs. charged flat rate of 225 for clogged kitchen and baths. Where as other places wanted 95 first half hr then 95 each additional hr. Chris was very polite and curteous. Also after clearing the clog checked and made sure the garbage disposal was tight and connected correctly cleaned up well, wore shoe covers in the house. Also paid with cash so was discounted 25 dollars. very pleased will call again if needed.
