Julian (Pipe Doctor) used to be our go-to for plumbing needs, until this last time. Our toilet wouldn't stop filling. He said it wasn't worth his time to come out for such a minor fix and instead recommended replacing the entire toilet, to make it worth his while. Upon reaching out to another local plumbing business, they determined it was an easy fix and came out same day to fix it, at a much lower cost, since we didn't actually need to replace the entire toilet. Very disappointed in the longstanding relationship we had with Julian, but happy to go elsewhere (Avon Plumbing) where they're actually willing to do the job.

Cannot recommend Julian the Pipe Doctor enough. He didn't have an opening to address our hot water heater at first but called back almost immediately when another customer got the wrong size dishwasher. He arrived within 15 minutes and within two hours he had removed our old tank and installed a new one. It wasn't easy, either since he had to take apart a main air duct to accomplish the job. Can't imagine any other plumber doing a better or more efficient task. He was very pleasant, too, and the cost was reasonable. Thanks, Julian!!!

We hired Julian at Pipe Doctor Plumbing twice already this year to do two different jobs for us and both came out great. The first one was an emergency replacement of our shower valve because it got to a state where we could not use it and were left without a shower for a couple of days. Julian was very quick to schedule us and did a great job installing the new shower valve and hardware. It looked like a difficult job because there was no good access to the shower valve through the walls so access had to be made through the tile. The second job was to replace our old and leaking water heater. We're beyond happy with the work and highly recommend Julian's professional services.

Julian was professional, friendly, and really good at his job. My needs were a little unique as the way the plumbing was set up in my house was not ideal. He was able to fix my issues (kitchen sink, broken pipes in basement, leaking toilet) in about 3 hours. The price was much better than anything I have been quoted previously. I highly recommend using Pipe Doctor in Avon for plumbing needs. I was having trouble finding a reliable plumber and he really came through. He will definitely be my go to for any future issues.

I called Julian owner/operator (licensed plumber) of the Pipe Doctor Plumbing Service when I noticed numerous water stains on my ground floor ceiling, which was directly below my 2nd floor bathroom sink. Julian was responsive and returned my call within 30 minutes and setup a visit for the same day, later that afternoon. The issue was corrosion of the supply valve on the sink, which was leaking under the cabinets. Julian provided a fair price for the repair and was extremely efficient and worked clean. He was respectful of our home and took precautions such as shoe coverings and drop cloths. We are extremely happy with the repair and it was successful.

We also had another repair made, unrelated to the first issue and again utilized the Pipe Doctor. This required removed of a section of ceiling due to a pipe leak within the ceiling section. Julian inquired if I had a water test performed, since I was on well water. I had recently requested a water tests and the results reflected a ph of 6.3 (7.0 being optimal). After inspection of pipes in the basement and the ph results, Julian informed me that the issue is due to acidic water quality impacting the copper pipes. Julian was able to repair the leak but advised that the issues may continue if I don't treat the water. I appreciated the feedback and confirmed the issue with a well water company.

I truly appreciate the option of dealing directly with an owner/operator (licensed plumber). In addition Julian is fair, responsive and a very experienced plumber. I would recommend The Pipe Doctor Plumbing Service and we plan to use his services again for a bathroom renovation.

You can't go wrong with Julian, we needed a hot water heater ASAP and he came out the next day. He had me send a few images so he knew what he was replacing and was able to give me a few different options for how we could go about replacing it since it was an older version.

Very fare pricing and great work, cleaned up after himself explained everything he was doing. Will definitely higher again for future needs.

Don't use this company. The guys they sent out were very unprofessional and rude. Showed up for a job last week, one guy looked homeless, very dirty and it was their first call of the day. It was obvious they didn't want to work, so after being at my house for 5 min, I told them how rude and condescending they were and asked them to leave, leave now! Called the company to speak with a manager, still no call back.

I called for a bunch of small jobs I needed done. Set up a appointment for about a week later. At time of appointment he called and said he had an emergency and would call to reschedule. He never called. I called and left message, no response.
