Colleen B.We got scammed. Beware!
I should have listened to my instincts but gave him a deposit anyway. Never again.
He had every excuse in the book. We had to call several times but he always had a reason not to come.
Smooth talker.
So sad with what's happening in the world today there are contractors taking advantage of people.
We had a pipe burst suddenly and Lucio came to our home to access and capped the lines within 25 mins of reaching out to him!
His level of care and customer service is excellent. We were able to restore water flow to our home for the evening which was very important as we weren't sure if we needed to find housing for the evening or next few days.
Lucio called us the next day to check on us and make sure we were ok and then had a plan to repair the pipe, install a new faucet and complete the patchwork and caulking. The job was completed within 48hrs and looks as if nothing ever happened. We are so happy with his responsiveness, knowledge, and genuine concern for our family. We highly recommend his services!
Michael W.Had Lucio replace a leaking P-trap ($185+tax, not cheap but wanted it done ASAP), but it started leaking again a month later, about the same time it took the P-trap I had installed myself to start leaking. I quickly replaced it myself - was refused warranty or refund on the grounds that I had thrown away the P-trap he had installed.
Upon closer inspection the drain pipe was higher than the P-trap so the drain needed to be lowered before a P-trap could properly be installed. I didn't catch this and neither had Lucio; this is why both of our installations had the exact same problem (they leaked from the same connection). Had him come back to inspect and he came to the same conclusion. Offered $1200 to redo the whole thing including lowering the drain (and also included a $350 charge to remove and reinstall the disposal unit since he said he'd need to in order to access the drain). Said this was discounted from $1500 per the issue we had, but looking around $1200 still seems on the high side.
So basically the $185+tax P-trap job was just money down the drain.
Also had a laundry box installed, cost was $1200. No problems here but not sure about the price (this did not include drywall work, patched that myself). That said he was at least quick about it. In both cases I went with this company primarily because I needed the job done ASAP, so could not readily get quotes to choose from. Lesson learned.
Carl R.$765 for one hour of work. Lucio seemed like a nice guy but then COMPLETELY OVERCHARGED for reconnecting my garbage disposal and faucet after i had new countertops installed. He charged $350 for 15 minutes of connecting my faucet and didn't even connect the cold water line properly.
His original bid was for $149, did not mention any additional charges during his work, and then hit me with a bill that was over 5x the original amount and wanted me to pay on the spot. I would have gladly paid a reasonable amount but instead feel taken advantage of and embarrassed for falling for a bait and switch hustle. $765 for one hour of work is outrageous.
Ilya P.I did not end up hiring PCC, but Lucio provided me good advice for 2 projects. The first one he could not accept because of availability (it was an emergency). For the second project, Lucio provided me advice on how to work with the original company who installed my water heater. I will call PCC for my next major plumbing issue.
Tony L.Fast response to our messages and inquiries. Showed up within an hour of first contact. Very friendly and personable. Confirmed quote on arrival and got straight to it. Will be keeping Lucio in the contact list for future plumbing needs.
Kozby E.I had some valves needing a change and a drain configuration job under the vanity top in the bathroom. Lucio came on time and took care of these items well plus he changed the seal wax and replaced the toilet. Lucio will take care of the job.
Terry H.Lucio was fast and gave me a good estimate. He was responsive and answered all my questions. He took time to understand my house's needs and offered a good solution.
Update: after the owner Lucio said he is willing to refund us 340 dollars and got our Vemo, NOTHING was refunded to us after a week. It's just another SCAM. Guys, do pay attention to this company. Really need to watch out! Don't get scammed again
I had the worst experience with this company. This is a totally ""scam"". I was asked to pay $400 dollars upfront to start the work with a tool that usually we can rent for $40 from home depot which obviously will not work. And of course, it did not work. We got charged another 340 dollars to use another auger to do it again. So in total, i paid 740 dollars for this great service. The 2nd tool that used today actually cost ~$500 dollars to buy at home depot. Just sharing the experience for anyone who has interest to pick their service. Btw, the contractor's name is Gabriel.
After searching online, this type of service usually cost $250-$280.
I learned the lesson with $740. Hopefully this review can help you and prevent anyone else get ""scammed"" again.
Update 1:
The owner reached out on July 29 and promise he will refund $340 for the second part of service charge in the evening. I give him my vemo right away and till now, 3 days later, nothing has been refunded. I will keep this thread updated. I feel like DOUBLE SCAMMED!
