I was charged $345 to have them snake my drain, which included an extra equipment fee!? they were in my place for less than 15 minutes. Never again.

We had a main sewer drain back up. It's a common problem with our house. I've been using pioneer plumbing for years for this very service and didn't have any issues with them until this last experience. I called on a Thursday to schedule an appointment for a jet to come out and clear the roots out of our line which I knew for 100% fact we needed. One of their truck showed up here without a jet and even recognize the house cuz he worked here before and said the service order says you need a jet. So after they left I'm waiting around with no time window for the jet to show up which was about 4 hours later. While I'm waiting I'm trying to get a hold of a manager at the shop to complain about Alex not following through and sending a jet out when he was specifically asked to. I ended up waiting on hold several times and ended up being hung up on. Alex picked up the phone and told me that the guy coming out to do the work named Mike was the manager on duty and I could talk to him about what was going on. I explained to Mike that I lost a day at my regular job and I also lost my bar shift that night because I had to wait around for them and I was out about $800. I was mentioning to him that I thought maybe they can compensate me somehow for the inconvenience and the loss of money and he picked up his tools and walked off the job. He accused me of being drunk which I was not and also said that he was afraid I wasn't going to pay my bill which is untrue because I've been doing business with these company for over 15 years as a property manager and with my remodeling business and I never been delinquent on any invoice ever. Pretty disappointed in the entire experience. We ended up four days without a drain and without showers with five people living here including kids. Couldn't do dishes couldn't do anything that needed water. This is not the way you treat valued customers. I highly recommend that you do not use their drain and sewer service. On the other hand I have never had an issue with any of the regular plumbers and will likely continue to use them.

I initiated a request one month ago and have had multiple phone calls trying to schedule an estimate to repipe my house. I had three phone calls offering me a visit if I was available in 10 minutes?!? I was FINALLY able to get a scheduled appointment for today between 9-10. At 9:45 I received a phone call asking if I still wanted to schedule an appointment?!? A follow-up call informed me that there had been a scheduling error and Jeremy would not be available. I'm done with this company.

Pioneer Plumbing installed a PRV in our '77 split level home. I spoke with both Jeremy via phone/text and he was able to give me a quote over the phone after sending pics of home's existing main water line. Shane came over within the expected time window and completed the job within an hour. Pioneer Plumbing was able to beat 3 of the other competitors pricing for the exact job. Hopefully no issues moving forward but if anything occurs I'll be calling Pioneer.

Ridiculously horrible customer service. Couldn't be bothered to return phone calls or emails when I questioned getting a surprise bill from the company after not completing any work.

The HOA for my building hired this company to do plumbing work that was supposed to be fully completed in Sep 2020. It's almost July 2021, and they're still not done.

The slowness is not even the most serious issue. The plumbers have obtained keys to my unit, and they just unlock my door and barge in whenever they want with no notice. This has been happening since last year, and even after repeated written notices to my HOA and telling the plumbers to stop, they still keep doing it.

This is illegal, and random guys I don't know should never be barging in to my unit like they live there. One day, they removed the toilet without asking me if that was ok. Another time, they took the bathroom fan.

Last week after unlocking my door without permission, they lied about what time they were allowed to access my unit - the sign put up by the HOA in the hallway and at the front door said they were allowed to come in between 9am-10am - they unlocked my door and broke into my unit at 1pm.

This behavior is illegal and unacceptable. I would recommend everyone to steer clear of this company.

Called this company based on a referral from another company who specifically recommended their services. Spoke with a very kind person who took my call and who assured me I'd get a response from them ASAP to schedule an appointment. Four days later, no call. Glad I found out how they do business before I gave them any of my money.

ADVICE: DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!
I had 2 storm drains that were problematic. My experience with Pioneer's estimator left me feeling shocked.

Pioneer estimated the work on the first at $3000 + tax to expose a P trap via jackhammer through brick and concrete; unless, once the trap was exposed, it turned out that hydro-jetting would be necessary, in which case, $960+ tax would be added to the bill! This would have left the brick patio patched with concrete and I probably would have needed to have the house siding painted at still more expense.

Yesterday, I had it cleaned via simple, clean hydro-jet by Washington Rooter for $550 including tax! WHAT A RELIEF! All it required was that a thin hose be directed down the side of the downspout and fed through the pipe in the ground with high water pressure. There was no P trap to be exposed.

For an additional $3200+ tax, Pioneer was prepared to jack-hammer through my other, concrete patio and redirect water, from the P trap he assumed was under it, to simply soak into the soil of the hill of my front yard. Even before the staggering cost, the proposed redirection worried me: Perhaps the added water from my roof would not over-saturate the hill and ground below it, but what if it did? When I expressed that concern, he proposed an open, 2 ft trench down between the concrete stairs and rockery which would involve cutting away part of the stair concrete. Yep. $3200+ tax!

Another company had sent an estimator who had offered a far simpler and affordable DYI alternative. Still another estimator was sure the problem was not in the ground at all, but rather, in the downspout at the gutter level. Since that was just yesterday, I haven't been able to check that out yet.

Absolutely the best. I cannot recommend them more highly. Imagine a plumbing company inspecting your sewers and telling you that the sewers do NOT need cleaning out for at least another year. We've had them do a number of jobs for us, and I appreciate their honesty, people skills, and of course their excellent work. Look no further if you want the best.

Clayton Marquiss and Phil Doss completed a very difficult plumbing job for a future apartment in my basement. They overcame every obstacle they encountered with skilled knowledge and exceptional work ethics. They persisted in every difficult task and were courteous, kept me informed, and very positive that they could solve any problem---and they did. I highly recommend these two plumbers.
