Contracted Pioneer Plumbing (Sal) to do some plumbing rework in the master bathroom in preparation for a complete remodel. So many problems with the work, including a new leak (about 1 year later) that has caused multiple thousands of dollars of repair work (busted up tile, jack hammered concrete slab, new and proper plumbing work). In addition to this latest problem here are some of the original plumbing issues and mistakes: 1. Tub Drain not in proper location for proper Tub installation 2. Hot/Cold reversed in both shower valves and both vanity water lines 3. Damage to electrical lines from in-proper soldering 4. holes in adjacent rooms drywall from careless sawing 5. slow drip in Hot feed to Shower valve (which he did repair) 6. Shower curb not square / right angles My advice stay away! In response to the business owners comments on my review, I sent him the following text. Sal the only place that was leaking are exactly were you soldered two joints, there is no loop just the (1) T and (1) 90 Elbow that you installed onto copper that come up from the slab..I can add the picture if you like. Be honest what are the odds of two holes the same size in the same exact proximity (less than 1/4 inch) from your solder joint happening at the same exact time? Do you think the copper my have been compromised in some way? (compressed, Bent, Overheated). To me (and more than one other expert) it's likely an application issue. The house is only 30 years old.. all the houses in this neighborhood are same age.. nobody else had had to have their house repiped.. copper should last longer than 30 years (unless the joints are improperly installed) nowhere else in my house is leaking.. Again i was trying to be nice 1 year ago by not leaving you a bad review. Oh and by the way you didn't respond to the other issues I outlined. My Review is just that, it is my review, my opinion that folks can take or leave, sorry if it hurts your feelings, but your work has hurt mine (along with my pocketbook)

Our water heater decided to bomb out on a Holiday weekend and was leaking all over the garage floor. Sal from Pioneer Plumbing Services responded quickly to my call and had the problem solved fast. Fast response, friendly, knowledgeable service, and reasonably priced means we'll call Pioneer back for any of our plumbing needs! Highly recommended. A+

He showed up on time and did a great job. We had a Flo by Moen system installed because our house had water damage from a malfunctioned toilet. I only wish we would have installed this system before our house had water damage. Will call him again for future plumbing needs

Here is something you will not have said of any other plumber: Sal came when he said, did not upcharge, and finished when he said. I am a Realtor and real estate investor and I need all sorts of people to fix things. I have a number of plumbers I have encountered over the past few years where the best I can say of them is I used them once and learned my lesson. Let me describe one of my great experiences with Sal. I had a fairly complicated thing that was going to take a couple of days. Sal said he would be there on a Monday and be done by Tuesday. We ran into things where I know for a fact other plumbers would have left to run get something and not come back for a week, if at all. I have loads of experience with plumbers, electricians, tile people, general contractors, etc. I know when I have found someone good. On the particular job I am referencing, Sal stuck through it. He stuck with me, and I never had to ask him to please not leave me hanging. He said what he was going to do and did what he said. I had an electronic key on the property and can tell who and when people come and go. Sal left at 9:30 Tuesday night. He put in a 13 hour day with his assistant on Tuesday after a full day on Monday. Knowing as many professionals in the building trades as I know, I cannot overstate how unusual it is to see this kind of commitment. When we settled up (for his quoted price) I asked him about this. His comment was he had promised someone else to be at their place first thing the next morning. There are no plumbers like Sal.

Shortly upon moving to Merritt Island and buying our dream home, we found ourselves in a complete plumbing nightmare. We were so afraid not knowing anybody in the area. Sal had good reviews and was highly recommended by a neighbor so we decided to give him a try. He was able to help us stop problems that could've been a lot worse (and costed a lot more) and prevented our main water line from bursting. We were so satisfied with his customer service and communication that we decided to give him a try again when we needed a new water heater. They are punctual, courteous, definitely know what they are doing. I usually feel very uncomfortable having contractors in the house when my husband is not at home but Sal made me feel safe and at ease. I highly recommend Pioneer plumbing for all of your plumbing needs.
