Update: had 3 different plumbers over the course of 7 visits to the house and it never got completed to a satisfactory degree (ie: no smell leaking from the disposal into the kitchen and still leaking water) and eventually got another company to come out and fix it. The other plumber asked if he could take a picture so he could show people he was teaching what not to do. Do not use this company.

Our Hvac stopped working 2 days before the impending snowstorm. They had a technician at my house within 2 hours of my call. The issue was a bit complex, so 2 techs came back the following morning and fixed the issue. Reasonable and quality service. Wasn't pressured into anything, and the work needed was clearly defined. Also, the company texts an image and contact info about the technician prior to arriving. Highly recommend!

They installed outside lights for me. The lights were supposed to come on at dark and go off with the light of morning, they are on most of the morning and come on at 3pm. When I called they said it would be a charge to come look and I didn't think this was fair since they weren't coming on and off as promised. The girl said sh was going to check and get back to me and I never heard from her again. These lights were $1200 so I think some follow up was in order- won't use them again

The staff at Frog are friendly, but their pricing and business practices are poor -- avoid.

We had them out because of an issue we were having with our AC. They suggested we needed to insulate and reroute some duct work, for $895 and also tried to sell us some questionable and very overpriced duct cleaning.

We went ahead and scheduled the duct work portion, and made a plan for them to come on Thursday, so arranged to take the day off work. Thursday morning they called and asked if they could reschedule to another day, but since we'd already taken the day off, we asked them to keep the agreed upon appointment. The said they would, but by the end of the day Thursday, they still had not shown. They called to say they were way behind schedule, and couldn't come until late in the evening, if at all. We had to reschedule to Friday, so wound up missing another day of work.

They told us the job would take several hours, but the technician just went up to our attic briefly, then came down and said they job was much easier than he expected -- he just threw some insulation that was already in our attic over the duct work, and took some pieces out of the existing duct and called it good. Despite the change in plans and difficulty, they charged the full $895 price. Will keep watching to see if the fix helps, but was shocked at the total cost given the small amount of work done -- next time will definitely look for a more economical and reliable HVAC contractor!

Luke, the tech that showed up to get my a/c running again, is a very nice guy, but spent about 80% of his time trying to sell me a new unit for about $8,000, telling me what a great deal that was, how I could get financing, and on and on, after telling me that if he topped off the refrigerant and draining the pan, my unit would likely last another year. The sales efforts never stopped and became really annoying, like Frog wanted me to trash my unit and spend $8,000 right now. Luke then waited to make sure the unit kicked in and started cooling, which it did, and then stopped again about two hours after he left.

So, about two hours after paying Frog A/C $1,375 to refill refrigerant and drain the condensation pan, my a/c was off, and has been off ever since.

This morning I called Donelson Air, who inspected the still non-functioning unit. The tech from Donelson reviewed the unit, refrigerant, etc., and found the drain pan full again, which I had just paid Frog $215 to simply empty. The Donelson tech then followed the condensation line and found a small slump in the line that stalled the flow of the condensation from the unit to the sump pimp. That was what was causing the backup to the drain pan. The Donelson simply straightened out the condensation line, and the unit works fine. $529 to actually fix the a/c.

Very reliable company. Call on a weekend and they were out on Tuesday as scheduled and on time. Was quick at determining the issue with my HVAC unit and given an estimate. Repaired unit in a timely manner and at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend them to work on an family or friends units.

The entire team at Frog has been honest, efficient, great to communicate with and kind. could not ask for a better company. Their men in the field are men of integrity. There are good roots here with this company. will go to them with any of our needs.

I love everything about this company! Their customer service is unrivaled in the industry. The are friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, and fair. AJ came right on time, called ahead, and had a broken AC unit up and running within minutes, all for a very fair price and no ""add-ons"". Sam and Jesse were also very helpful on the phone. I am a customer for life!

Buyer beware. I never write reviews, but I feel a responsibility and obligation to in this instance.

We did a major renovation of our home, which we worked with many, many vendors throughout the process. We were delighted and worked reasonably and well with all others. Frog was a gross exception. We engaged them 20 months ago to install two new Carrier units with smart thermostats. Since then, we have had more than 35 technician visits for problems (literally 35+), and easily more than 100 emails, phone calls and texts. A majority of my requests for further help were ignored and I had to continually nag them to respond and help me. I also asked numerous times to speak with their CEO or leadership about this experience, and I was always blocked and denied. As of this writing, my last request for help has gone unanswered four times and I am throwing in the towel. I will be engaging another company and paying more money to get the job done.

To be clear, I was not a high maintenance customer. My simple needs as agreed to in the transaction were to 1) have two units installed, 2) functioning with heating and cooling and 3) with smart thermostats. We went through a minimum of ten thermostats, and replacement was predominately due to bad installation, not compatible, or configuration and wiring with each tech stating the prior tech didn't do it correctly. Our follow up calls for help weren't due to being picky... our system would not blow either hot or cold air at all.

I will give them credit for showing up 35+ times, albeit with a lot of my frustrated reminding and nagging to have them do so. While they did show up and were nice and polite most times, they could never get the job done.

I am a very reasonable customer and am not demanding. My needs were reasonable in that I wanted functioning units with smart thermostats. I was not a push over, and I stayed on Frog to deliver what I paid for. Ultimately that never happened, and it came with a lot of time, frustration, stress and an uncomfortable home when things weren't working.

I purchased a Groupon for this service for a great price. However, I knew that I would be spending more money than that because the condo unit had recently showed signs of mold. I had just abated the mold in the crawl space and knew the only thing left to do was to clean out the air vents as well. The service technician, Everett, was professional and thorough. The price he quoted based on abating the mold and working on two units instead of one was reasonable and fair.
To be fair, the only reason I am giving this a rating of 4 stars instead of 5 is because I just had the work done and until the condo is cleaned out from the construction that was performed and any residual mold on surfaces treated, I won't be able to check to see if it returns.
