We are your dependable heating and air conditioning service provider for Nashville and nearby areas. For over two decades, Mike and I (Denissa) Morgan have provided electrical services to homes in the Greater Nashville region. Time and again, our customers requested recommendations for a heating and air service company, but we struggled to provide one confidently. These ongoing requests prompted us to expand our services to include heating and air, and we are now proud to introduce Frog Heating and Air Conditioning. Our goal is to maintain the same high-quality service and core values that we have upheld over the years with Mister Sparky Electric. We have assembled the best talent in the HVAC industry to ensure we deliver consistent, reliable, and quality service.

We had the outlets in our upstairs bedroom go out and called this company. They sent an electrician out who only opened and checked one of the non working outlets. He told us we needed to rewire our whole house and panel. The quote was $12,000.! Called someone else and had it fixed for less than $1000. He took the time and checked all the outlets that didn't have power and found the problem east. Felt like frog was trying to scam us after getting it fixed for over $11,000 less. Do what you will with this info.
This is the worst service I have ever experienced. Frog Heating never informed me that the power would need to be off for awhile prior to scheduling a service call. They showed up late and never contacted me to let me know they were running late. Then when I needed to finish a conference they would not wait, nor come back to fix my panel. They contacted me to reschedule the service call they had messed up. The customer service rep was not accommodating at all. I had to take off work and have to take off again due their inability to be on time, properly informing me of what needed to take place during the service call, and their inability to be flexible. Horrible customer service. Whatever happened to customers come first? Not so with Frog Heating. They are inconsiderate, not flexible, and rude. I recommend no one uses their service and they undergo customer service training. No customer should be treated like this.
I setup an appointment with this company for 8 to 10 am on Monday, 2 days in advance. Here it is 11:21 am and not even a phone call to let me know they are running late. I called them and told them all about MY cancellation program (""which they talk about on their website). My cancellation program means if you are supposed to be at my house between a certain time and you are not and you can't give me the courtesy of a phone call then you are canceled and I write a bad review anywhere I can find your inept business. Thanks for wasting my time.
Estimate was $65 short of THREE times that of another very well rated, fully certified Nashville electrician for the installation of a home charging station for our new EV. An absurd price for the work to install it! We felt scammed. Obviously did not use them. Beware, and at least get a second quote before you hire this company.
I had a light switch out in my kitchen. I called and the receptionist was pleasant and courteous. She got me an appointment right away. I had Butch P. Come out to repair the light switch. He was so nice and detected my problem right away. This company was very fair in their pricing. I will definitely call on them again. I will also refer them to others.
Update: had 3 different plumbers over the course of 7 visits to the house and it never got completed to a satisfactory degree (ie: no smell leaking from the disposal into the kitchen and still leaking water) and eventually got another company to come out and fix it. The other plumber asked if he could take a picture so he could show people he was teaching what not to do. Do not use this company.
Our Hvac stopped working 2 days before the impending snowstorm. They had a technician at my house within 2 hours of my call. The issue was a bit complex, so 2 techs came back the following morning and fixed the issue. Reasonable and quality service. Wasn't pressured into anything, and the work needed was clearly defined. Also, the company texts an image and contact info about the technician prior to arriving. Highly recommend!
They installed outside lights for me. The lights were supposed to come on at dark and go off with the light of morning, they are on most of the morning and come on at 3pm. When I called they said it would be a charge to come look and I didn't think this was fair since they weren't coming on and off as promised. The girl said sh was going to check and get back to me and I never heard from her again. These lights were $1200 so I think some follow up was in order- won't use them again
The staff at Frog are friendly, but their pricing and business practices are poor -- avoid.
We had them out because of an issue we were having with our AC. They suggested we needed to insulate and reroute some duct work, for $895 and also tried to sell us some questionable and very overpriced duct cleaning.
We went ahead and scheduled the duct work portion, and made a plan for them to come on Thursday, so arranged to take the day off work. Thursday morning they called and asked if they could reschedule to another day, but since we'd already taken the day off, we asked them to keep the agreed upon appointment. The said they would, but by the end of the day Thursday, they still had not shown. They called to say they were way behind schedule, and couldn't come until late in the evening, if at all. We had to reschedule to Friday, so wound up missing another day of work.
They told us the job would take several hours, but the technician just went up to our attic briefly, then came down and said they job was much easier than he expected -- he just threw some insulation that was already in our attic over the duct work, and took some pieces out of the existing duct and called it good. Despite the change in plans and difficulty, they charged the full $895 price. Will keep watching to see if the fix helps, but was shocked at the total cost given the small amount of work done -- next time will definitely look for a more economical and reliable HVAC contractor!
Luke, the tech that showed up to get my a/c running again, is a very nice guy, but spent about 80% of his time trying to sell me a new unit for about $8,000, telling me what a great deal that was, how I could get financing, and on and on, after telling me that if he topped off the refrigerant and draining the pan, my unit would likely last another year. The sales efforts never stopped and became really annoying, like Frog wanted me to trash my unit and spend $8,000 right now. Luke then waited to make sure the unit kicked in and started cooling, which it did, and then stopped again about two hours after he left.
So, about two hours after paying Frog A/C $1,375 to refill refrigerant and drain the condensation pan, my a/c was off, and has been off ever since.
This morning I called Donelson Air, who inspected the still non-functioning unit. The tech from Donelson reviewed the unit, refrigerant, etc., and found the drain pan full again, which I had just paid Frog $215 to simply empty. The Donelson tech then followed the condensation line and found a small slump in the line that stalled the flow of the condensation from the unit to the sump pimp. That was what was causing the backup to the drain pan. The Donelson simply straightened out the condensation line, and the unit works fine. $529 to actually fix the a/c.
