Witnessed one of the managers ""Bobby Snowden"" call one of his employees a B word in front of me and other customers. Upsetting the employee and making everyone else uncomfortable. I was going to set up an appointment with them but after seeing how the managers treat their employees, I will not be supporting this business and will be looking elsewhere for my A/C service needs.

Before you decide to let Pioneer Comfort Systems service your heating or air conditioning or plumbing, please get a second opinion. My family has used them for years and thought the company took care of longtime customers. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The company doesn't care about their customers only the money they can get out of you! They pay their technicians on commission and will let them set the price regardless of what it should really cost. They told us we needed a $4000 inside unit! We called Quality Sheet Metal and Cooling for our second opinion and they came the next day and fixed with problem for under $200. It was very refreshing to have someone honestly care about the family they were servicing and not just the $$$$$$$$.

Pioneer Comfort Systems had a real way of making me regret calling. I always hear great things about them but they are just greedy jerks. They may do a good job but when they are going to charge you $3000 for a $600 job it's just not worth it. They told me they charge a $97 diagnostic fee. GRAMMATICALLY meaning that they will come out and see what they have to do to fix the issue. Instead, they came out and told me they were to charge $600 to find the issue, and when I refused they charged me $97 just for getting out of the truck for 5 minutes and breathing in my neighborhood. This was one of the most ridiculous experiences of my life.

We had tried a different plumbing service and just didn't feel comfortable with the crew or their ability. We called Pioneer Comfort Systems and it was night and day difference. From the person we talked to on the phone to schedule, to the crew that actually fixed the issue, they provided a great service and experience. They were able to fix the problem the same day we called (unlike the previously tried company). They were efficient, knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly!

At the risk of sounding disgruntled, I am not happy with Pioneer. We trusted them to be honest about our Heat & AC needs and feel taken advantage of. If you want things condensed down to a single issue, I would say it is ATTITUDE. They just care to the point of fulfilling their legal obligation and no more (IMO). I feel that if they have to choose between going the extra mile -Vs- their bottom line, they will favor the latter every time.
We asked if a new system they were quoting us was comparable to the old unit and they said it was. Well our experience is that it is much noisier (not mentioned) and cools about the same with no savings per month. So for our 10k investment we are worse off, considering the $$$ spent. The difference should be something I would be proud of and want to tell others about. I am basically sorry I chose them and hope this review will make others think twice before trusting them also. They just have a hard time caring... :-(

These guys rocked it when we lost hot water in our house on the weekend. I am totally happy with their service and am signing up for maintenance on my systems.

The owners of the building where my business is located called the plumbing division of this company to repair a leak around the base of our toilet. The plumber first suggested a new toilet, and then said the wax ring needed to be replaced. His quote was $242. I said I could get a wax ring at the store for $1.50. He smirked and said ""you are more than welcome to do that"". I told him I would pay him for his diagnostics ($89) and had my husband replace the wax ring. It took 40 minutes and a $2.00 wax ring. I would not recommend this company.

I had this co.which I have used before come to my home for repair on my heating unit. it was not igniting or blowing heat.The repairman told me that the control board was bad and will cost $425.00 for the part plus labor a total of $504.00.I asked him if the part was cheaper if I bought it somewhere else and he said I do not know so I told him to repair it and then paid him.After he left I went online and found the same part for $263.74 I can understand a markup on the price of the part but almost $200.00 I called the co. and they told me the Service Manager was out and that they would get back to me (still waiting for the call)
