Tyler Pina was here for the second time today. I should have written this review last year, when he came late on a Friday afternoon when no other ""highly rated"" plumber even returned my call. Tyler is truly a local gem - competent, responsive, and just a pleasure to have in your home. I knew exactly who to call this time when we had two plumbing issues crop up within 12 hours of each other! Read the other reviews - everything that everyone is saying is true! It's just so nice to have found someone like him - you might not think about plumbers daily, but man, when you need one, and you have a wonderful one to call, it's a great feeling!

In autumn 2016 I was going to renovate the master bathroom in our house in Corte Madera. I learned of Tyler through Yelp, and contacted him to do an estimate for the work. He provided a detailed cost estimate that showed different pricing options. I decided to delay the complete renovation of the bathroom, and instead opted to have the existing equipment repaired. Tyler did not mind the change of plans, and he made the necessary repairs. He did good work for a reasonable price. He is also a nice person, and has been responsive when I have contacted him about other work.

Best plumber (and contractor, for that matter) that we've ever had. Unfortunately, Yelp reviews aren't always accurate, as we found out previously with a different highly rated plumber. Tyler has worked in our home on more than one occasion and each time he has done a great job, always on time, honest & fair and responds to emails and/or phone calls efficiently (unlike another plumber). How nice to have a reliable plumber that gets the job done!

My water heater went down in the late evening. I called a few people around Mill Valley and they pretty much laughed at me and told me they could fix it ""soon"" I decided to try one last thing so I texted Pina Plumbing (415)570-1054 (which it turns out he prefers). He was really responsive and then next thing I knew he was at my house fixing my Water Heater. It is an off brand water heater and I thought, ""no way this guy has the parts to fix this POS"" but 45 minutes later it was on and we had hot water. On top of the outstanding service the bill was very reasonable. Tyler saved the day!

Thank goodness for yelp! I was desperate for someone to help me install a replacement hot water faucet in my kitchen as the lever on mine broke and was spewing water up like a fire hydrant. Nobody else could help me for 5 days but Tyler was able to come help me fairly quickly once my parts arrived. He was on time, helpful, friendly and worked very quickly. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to call Pina Plumbing again.

When Yelp works well it works well. Saturday early evening and the disposal is broken.. sink clogged.. do a search on yelp.. Call Pina Plumbing based on other reviews. Tyler answers phone.. walks me threw issue.. even tries to help me so that no visit is needed.. we establish visit is best.. he comes the next morning (sunday). Friendly. competent.. listens.. he fixed disposal in no time.. and we had a few other issues that he helped us out with all on same call and for a very reasonable price. Thank you!!

Tyler is amazing! Not only did he figure out immediately what was causing a major leak in our kitchen ceiling and then quickly fix it, but he went that extra step to make sure it never happens again! It feels like I have my own private plumbing consultant. While I am out of town on business, he is ordering parts for me, getting them delivered to his house, 2 day shipment and scheduling the install before I even return. Yea! finally found a plumber I can count on.
