Worst experience ever! My fridge went out, I called my home warranty contractor who then referred me to Chad with Appliance Repair of America. After coming to my home 4 times, and a month later my fridge is still not repair. I knew something was wrong, when he had to read the instructions every time he installed the parts he ordered. On top of this, he submitted my work order as complete when my fridge is still not fixed.

Prompt, friendly service. Professional and Knowledgeable! They were contracted through our home warranty service. Actually, the 3rd company called since had negative, unprofessional experience with the two contractors called previously 2 days prior. Appliance Repair of America was very accommodating and understanding of our situation involving the two companies contracted previously. Our refrigerator, including the freezer, had a cooling issue. Freezer rose to 30°+ (0° normal operation) and fridge hit 56° (37° normal operation). Chad, the technician, correctly diagnosed the issues and repaired on the spot (new control board and new heater). He was very thorough in his work as well. Additionally, he explained the whats, hows and whys in layman's terms. We highly recommend their service. We will always use them for all our repair needs. They go above and beyond! Chad...A job well done!!! Thank you!!!

Worst experience ever! My warranty company sent ""chad"" out to fix my refrigerator and he said once they sent him the part he would be back. According to the warranty company he has had the part since October 6. I still do not have a working fridge and neither myself or the warranty company can get a hold of this so called company. We leave messages and call at least twice a week. They never call back. This company is a rip off, a complete joke. Avoid this ""company"" at all costs.

This company is an absolute joke. I was referred to them through my home warranty company and upon receipt of my request, I received a text, not a phone call asking about an appointment time. I tried to get an earlier time and when they said nothing was available, I confirmed that the original time would work. The day of our appointment, my wife heads home early from work to meet them and hear nothing from them during the 2-3 pm window of our appointment. I call every number I can find for them, leave message and send texts back, no response until 4pm. The response ""What is the name on the claim, I am running late."" I proceed to give my name and then am told I have no appointment. I say to look back in the history and see that I confirmed the appointment. After going back and forth and trying to get them out that day, nothing happens and I still have my broken washer. Avoid these unprofessional people at all cost. I've noticed all the ""good"" reviews are from IL residents and they ironically have an IL number listed as their business number but do work in Tucson? Strange for sure. Probably friends just making fake reviews to get their reviews up, but this company is seriously a joke, AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Bad experience, we were having issues with our dryer. We called our home warranty who contracted Appliance repair of America for the diagnostic test/repair. We paid $60 for ""Chad"" to come out and ""repair"" our dryer. He ""fixed"" the dryer by cleaning it . With in the same day we had the same issues. We called him rightway to schedule a second appointment. However he never showed. We called and they stated ""someone"" had cancelled our appointment. Nothing has be done. Here we are 1 month and $60.00 later with a broken dryer.

HORRIBLE experience. We were having trouble with our dryer and was given appliance repair of America with our home warranty... once they came out, at first they were about 45 minutes late than original time they said. And all he did was look and ""clean"" out my dryer and said he fixed the problem. $60 later I still had a dryer that didn't work and when I asked them to come back and try again like he said he would if we had problems, they never came back at the appointed time to continue to diagnose the problem.

What a wonderful experience, the two gentlemen were very professional and very eager to get the problem solved. I found out through casual conversation that they do more than just repair ovens I would definitely recommend to anyone using this company for any repairs on major appliances in their home.

The service was so awful I won't give the tech's name, but ARA knows who he is. He came to the house a day late.He pulled the dryer away from the wall, took it apart, said he didn't smell gas, said our vent hose was too narrow, then told my husband to go to Home Depot and buy a dryer vent kit and install it himself. He left the dryer sitting in the middle of the room, didn't level it and managed to break the start knob. Then he moved on to the washer, pulled it away from the wall, was dismantling it when a second ARA tech called to confirm directions to our house. Tech Two insisted on speaking to Tech One. Tech One put the washer back together and shoved it back against the wall and said there was nothing wrong with it. He wanted to measure our range vent hood, but I told him he wasn't there for the vent hood, that had been resolved last September. He wanted documentation on it. Half an hour later, with some serious red flags waving, my husband saw him to the door. Within an hour, Tech THREE called and said he was running late but would it be alright if he came to fix the dryer. I told him exactly what had happened with Tech One, and he wondered if the guy was even an employee of theirs. Since there was supposedly nothing wrong with my washer I put in a load of laundry. When it went into the spin cycle, we discovered that when Tech One shoved it against the wall he knocked out the plumbing. The laundry room was flooded and now my homeowners insurance company is sending out an inspector to see if the whole laundry room floor will have to be replaced. My advice? Call anyone else or do it yourself. This is a nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Chad was great! He was able to come out the same day and pull a baby sock out of the washer pump.

Great service. Chad was very friendly. He fixed the problem, came back the next day with the parts and charged a very decent price. I would recommend him.
