I called Pilgrim Plumbing for a Kitchen Faucet install, they sent out 2 plumbers for a 1 man job. The lead guy said he would give me 3 quotes 1. kitchen install only $ 749 - 2. Kitchen install and replace the drain elbow fitting and extra $ 400 = $ 1100 - 3. Kitchen install , elbow fitting and new garbage disposal $ 2000 ( I didn't need a new garbage disposal ours works perfectly. On top of that I had to give a deposit of $ 89 just to have them come out.
I have never had a company trying to scam a customer like this. I called the supervisor to complain but he said this was his cost to charge these amounts, he wouldn't give my deposit back. I just had the kitchen faucet installed today from a local licensed plumber and they sent 1 man to do the job which took about 1 hour and they charged me $ 375 . I would highly not recommend using Pilgrim Plumbing unless you want to get scammed. BB - in Duxbury

He was very patient when explaining the situation and then how he was going to fix it to me. He was able to remedy the problem rather quickly and did not leave behind any mess! I called to attach a new outdoor shower in replace of my broken one that lasted just over 18 months. It's just a shower kit to replace the same exact one, only black. The 'plumber' who came didn't really listen to instruction on entry, however this is not where the review is coming from. This outdoor shower is practically brand new and should not be falling apart. I paid $2,000 for a brand new outdoor shower- And I supplied the outdoor shower head kit itself which run a few hundred dollars. The man today told me it was literally $1,300! I was like no, way. He said I need a whole new install (so they robbed me $800 from the new install). I explained its just replacing the same exact shower head. He gave me an attitude when I mentioned I will call the office and ask and said "" they will say the same exact thing"". I just got a quote for $250 to replace- ABSOLUTE ROBBERY! I called and asked for manager and they won't call me back. I called a second time and they put on my account, ""Do not service"". They owe me $800 and need to lose business. DO NOT USE THEM!

Horrible , They take a deposit then give you a price that is extremely high and unreasonable so you do not agree for them to do the work and then they keep your deposit.

Had another company come out to install a new boiler and not only was the job not done well they were also very unprofessional with no respect for my property. When one morning our heat was once again not working right I called Pilgrim Plumbing and Heating. They were able to get someone out within a few hours. Our technician was professional, friendly and solved the issue within an hour. Will not hesitate to call them again.

Brian is a plumbing god, walking amongst mere mortals. He's been a pleasure to work with for the past few years and he's the only plumbing team I want to turn to for as long as I am on this Earth.

He's been a great help as I learn my new house with quite a few plumbing and heating systems I've never used before.

Just wanted to share some feedback on a recent experience with Pilgrim Plumbing. There was a recent nor'easter that took the power out for many of us in town for several days. That was fine because I plan ahead and have a generator. But... then my boiler broke so I had no heat.

To make the situation more urgent, I had 9 puppies in the house whose safety depended on keeping them warm. I was panicked!

Brian to the rescue. He responded immediately and resolved the situation quickly and professionally. He was clear about his timing and what might be required and he followed up to ensure that we were all set.

The puppies and I were so grateful!
