Came into town from out of state to ready an in-law's home for sale. We needed a few plumbing issues fixed (new kitchen faucet, new garbage disposal and a cartridge for a shower). I called a few plumbing companies, ahead of time, and got the same response - a huge charge just to show up at the door (which wouldn't even be applied to the final bill if we decided to have the work done) and an estimate from there with no idea if that estimate would even be fair. I called Ken Pignone based on his reviews and am so glad that I did. Ken was very friendly, knowledgeable and was able to come out during the one week that we were in town. Ken was extremely fair in his pricing and didn't even charge a fee just to show up at the door. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to have found someone who is honest, dependable, truly is good at his job and did the work in the amount of time that he estimated. He was more than happy to answer any and all questions that we had. I wouldn't hesitate at all in recommending Ken to others or having him back to do additional work if needed. Slam dunk choice for plumbing help. Ken was absolutely straightforward in his analysis of my problem (water heater), creative in trying to find less expensive solutions than a complete replacement. Equally, if not more importantly, he followed up on each visit he made to make sure we were happy and to answer any questions. Definitely made us feel we were in good, trustworthy hands. We recommend him highly.

Awesome. Ken gave me a quote to replace a couple of traps and repair a leaking faucet in my old West Hartford house. His quote was very reasonable and I had been given his name as a referral so I hired him for the job. He was easy to schedule, showed up early (after calling to make sure it was OK), and came in with a final bill significantly lower than his already reasonable initial quote!
