In 1927, just before the stock market crash that led to the Great Depression, James R. Pierce founded a plumbing company in Oakland. Through those tough times, the company honed its expertise and took its first steps toward becoming a premier plumbing contractor in the Bay Area. Surviving those initial years demanded a real focus on quality and craftsmanship. The same values that supported the young J.R. Pierce Plumbing Company through its early struggles are still with us today as we navigate the current recession.
