It's no surprise to me that this company doesn't have much of an online presence- it's for a reason. This is the plumbing that Meritage home builders users and when I say beware. . . I cannot stress it enough. We purchased our beautiful home in 2019 and absolutely love everything about it, except the plumbing.

We have had multiple plumbing issues- the main one being we had to get an upstairs pipe hydro jetted to the tune of $2,000 + dollars. The pipe we've been told (and given written, video, and photographic proof) by FOUR different plumbers now- was not only installed incorrectly, it is not up to code and is structurally incorrect. The pipe is 38 ft. long with NO OTHER lines tying to it - not even a sink, so waste from the toilet needs to travel horizontally 38 feet across the entire home with no assistance from any other water source. I'm talking POOP- STUCK IN THE PIPE- FOR 38 FEET. This is not up to code and we have no clue how this ever passed inspection.

Meritage has had JR pierce come out several times now claiming they would fix the issue- all they've done is come out and told us there's ""nothing wrong"" even though we have physical evidence that they installed the plumbing incorrectly. They literally looked me in the face and said ""you just need to flush the toilet multiple times after each use"". This is NOT NORMAL. I asked the main plumber if he could tell me this was installed correctly and he said he declined to answer.

A beautiful home with a sour taste in our mouth now all due to this company. I wouldn't even let them touch a faucet in our house again. We will be dealing with this issue for the rest of our lives now.

If I could give this business 0 stars I would my garbage disposal went out and when I went to replace it the idiots installed it wrong and now I have to take the whole thing apart just to install a new one. Now I have replace many disposals just by being able to turn that locking ring. I would never use them or recommend them for any thing.

Frank at JR Plumbing Co. was extremely professional, had a great attitude, wore a mask and even took off his shoes before entering the home! He helped me unclog a toilet within a few minutes of arriving and also did a general tune up on the lever operation. 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing. After a rough morning with another contractor, I was preparing myself for more of the same with the plumber.

Instead, Frank showed up, popped his shoes off (""don't worry, I saw the look""), then got straight to work on the leaky tub. I was surprised when he came downstairs just 5-10 minutes later, so I braced myself for the worst (again, rough morning). But, he was already done! He showed me the problem (just a missing o-ring), said he already replaced it, then wished me a good day.

We were so pleased and would definitely consider using them in the future. Thank you so much for your quick service and professionalism!

Would give a zero if they had a zero button. Just found another leak under my house because the plumber was too lazy to glue the drain pipe ! Bad enough he left his garbage under my house.

I called JR Plumbing this evening when my in-sink garbage disposal suddenly stopped working. My call was after hours, but he called me back right away. And then (and this is where it gets good), he spent time on the phone walking me through -- in detail -- how to troubleshoot the garbage disposal. And the best part, he got it working! Yes, it took a few steps. But he was patient, and even stayed on the phone doing a few extra tests to make sure it was working properly. He could have come out and done a service call, and then charged me for the whole thing. But instead he did this for free. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and a godsend given that I was in the middle of making dinner and was desperate for help. I would use this plumbing company again in an instant! Highly recommend!!

Don from JR Pierce plumbing came today to install our bathtub and shower pan for a bathroom remodel. He was very professional. I wanted to purchase a new shower pan instead of reinstalling the old dirty one. Unfortunately, the pan we needed was a custom size and not available. I went to several stores and called several more with no luck. Don hunted one down and installed it when it was delivered. I am very pleased!

We have had great experiences with J.R. Pierce Plumbing. We had them replace 2 different water heaters. One for our rental house and one in our home we are living in now.
Bret has been great in both experiences. He is so professional and makes sure everything is done correctly. He even gave me a lesson on turning on the pilot light if needed.
Dan has also been very helpful and quickly to set us up with a new water heater in a pinch.
They helped us out and we really appreciate their service.

Not a honest and competent company, they may be good for basic stuff like the previous reviewer said. But my experience has been terrible, we knew we had a foundation leak, called our home builder Morrison homes who referred to us to JR Pierce. They came out and charged us $95 to tell us that we had a leak duh! We know that.

What really irks me is that when you're in the trade you know some things can only be done right by having some other professional with the right equipment and expertise of the issue to look at first. Eg Leak in foundation, I would have got a Leak specialist come out and look and find the leak rather than send your regular guy who wouldn't know what to do in the first place.

It seemed like hey lets make the $95 for going out there knowing very well that we won't find anything. Then we will get the client go to a leak specialist. Pay us $95 and then the leak specialist $ few hundred.

Why would any profesional do that? Left a really bad taste in my mouth with this company. I could have saved a $95 and put that towards a leak specialist.

All they could tell me hey you have a leak now pay me $95 for telling you that you have a leak could not provied anything more. What's worse is when the guy who came to find the leak feels bad for you for taking $95 for doing nothing. The main office person Dan was of no help either explaining that he's politically correct for sending a guy out.
