We contacted PLD after noticing our water bill starting to creep up. Dave came out to the house and confirmed we had no leaks. To me this was worth the time away from work and the cost, its like going to the dentist,,,IMHO its better to pay a little now and know everything is ok rather than waiting, developing a problem, and pay much much more.
PLD was able to schedule the appt quickly, gave me a clear window of when to expect Dave, and Dave showed up as promised. Very happy with PLD and would use them again (hopefully I never need to), but would gladly recommend them.

I had water coming out of my foundation on the outside of the house - a slab leak. I have had experience with other leak detection companies in the past with varying levels of success, NONE as good as this one. I called several leak detection companies early the next morning and the earliest they could come out was late the next day, some were three weeks out! I aborted Google search and found this company in Yelp. Dave was able to come out in a few hours and once here, I spent less than 5 minutes outside showing him where the water was coming from and then he went inside and spent the next 45 minutes there using three different types of equipment and then told me (and showed me using his equipment) with greater than a 90% certainty exactly where he thought my leak was and described how it could be fixed! He used a noise level detector to figure out which line (hot or cold) and to get the fixture closest to the leak, then injected a signal on the copper pipes to figure out exactly where the pipes ran using another tool, then used thermal imaging to find the PUDDLE of water in the slab around where the pipe was leaking. The techniques were AWESOME! He also gave me a plumber that was able to come out the NEXT day to fix the leak.

This was during COVID-19 times and Dave came to the door wearing a mask, which was very much appreciated because I fall into the high risk category. He cut a hole in my drywall (after asking for permission) as part of the troubleshooting process and the plumbers actually used that same hole to run the new plumbing. He made the cuts nice and straight, knew right where to make the hole because of his equipment, and cleaned up the mess on the floor and tile before leaving.

I am writing this the day after the leak has been fixed and am still amazed at how well the leak detection went. I am definitely using Dave if I EVER need leak detection again. BTW, the plumbers I used said they have used Dave in the past and know that when he finds a leak it is always where he says.

I received a call from my landscaper telling me I had a huge problem. Our house was leaking water from an outside wall. There was no indication of a leak from the inside of the home. i recently had a slab leak in my home. i was referred to phoenix leak detection by the plumbing company (top notch plumbing), the gentleman called back immediately (thursday) and we made appointment for friday. he arrived promptly at appointment time. the problem area was discovered and a repair plan was made . the whole process took an hour. i was told what he was doing every step of the way . he was absolutely accurate in his detection process. cost was very reasonable at 285.00, most leak companies charge much more , i checked arond . i highly recommend this company . i will also refer any family or friends . thank you for the great service !!!
