Gary and his assistant were fantastic! So quick, so thorough and so polite. Such a neat and tidy job, doing everything we needed and more. Great work and Gary is such a gentleman. He did a great job and I highly recommend using his company. We had never met him before, but came highly recommended and he was wonderful. Cant say enough great things about him.

Phillips Plumbing is fantastic!
My house is 14 years old, and we all know that things start to need replacement and repair at that age. I've had Gary replace a kitchen sink and disposal, faucets, a water heater, and install a water softener over the past several years - all with care and excellent service.
My most recent experience with Phillips Plumbing was no different. A few days ago I noticed that I had no hot water upstairs. I checked the faucet in the kitchen...no hot water. I checked the water heater and noticed water in the pan, enough to make it to the drain and spill onto the garage floor. I messaged Gary immediately, and he asked that I send a photo of the model and serial number. I did, and he informed me that it was still under warranty, as it was only five years old. He was at my house first thing the next morning, and within an hour the new heater was installed.
Gary and his crew are honest, reliable, and service-minded. Phillips Plumbing is my first call.

I have used Gary the last two times that I had plumbing and water heater problems. They are professional, experienced, great with response time, really easy to work with, very reasonable and honest. Their work is clean and efficient. These guys (Gary and Arturo) get the job done. Thank you guys for giving me a reason to always call you.

We just had Gary remove and install a new toilet in master bath, fix a running toilet with a bad seal and valve in the secondary bathroom and replace our garbage disposal. All work was done super fast and he was very friendly and professional throughout making sure to cleanup after himself and helped dispose of the old fixtures.
I work around plumbers all day and would highly recommend Gary to anyone who asked and use him again.

Gary and his assistant fixed my plumbing problem-
He was on time and the price was fair.......
Thank you!!

I so appreciated the plumbing service that Gary provided last week.
Had a leak under our kitchen sink and after calling his cell number he said that he would be able to be out the next day. Fixed the problem and when I mentioned that I was having a very hard time pulling out the handle in the shower he also changed out a cartridge and now it works like new again including much more water pressure.
If I ever again need a plumber you can be sure that I will call Gary from Phillips Plumbing.

I called Phillips Plumbing last week for dishwasher hook up. Spoke to Gary's wife who was kind and provided me his phone # as he maintains his own schedule. He confirmed that he could come out the same morning and do the job for $90. I texted him shortly after as I also had a refrig to install - he said ""sure"". When they got there I explained I had a kitchen leak and just installed a new wood floor ($5000 value) and that I had just sold the home. When he got there they didn't have booties to protect the flooring and simply rolled the dishwasher across the new wood floor - no protection for their feet or the appliance - I had cardboard all over the house as I was getting ready to move - but surely a Licensed plumber should take precautions to ensure they don't damage someone's home. They had trouble getting the dishwasher installed, but ultimately did install it. When it was time for the fridge he said ""I don't want to roll it across the floor"" - I responded and said ""here, I have cardboard"" - they used it and installed it with no problem.
Here comes the list of problems and a complete lack of professionalism and courtesy:
1. As he was about to leave, he walks me over to the wood floor where the dishwasher was installed and notifies my there are some ""scratches"" - actually his carelessness caused gouges in my completely brand new floor! Just installed the day prior! Imagine how you would feel!? He then goes on to tell me there would be no charge (the $90) because of the damage. Can you imagine the nerve? He doesn't offer to have it repaired. Doesn't say ""it was my fault"" I should have protected your floor. Instead he says ""the wood is really soft!"" Really? Soft wood huh - how dishonest! Moments later he rolled a large refrig across the same floor with no damage, simply by taking the time and thoughtfulness from using a piece of cardboard to protect the floor (I had to offer the cardboard). He damaged my floor trying to ""push"" and ""shove"" a dishwasher in a space that was too tight and needed some minor adjustments (which his assistant figured out). He was careless and negligent - but even worse, he felt he was being ""honest"" by pointing out the damage just as he was leaving - but in reality he was dishonest by calling it ""soft wood"" and not taking full responsibility by owning the problem he created and fixing the floor. He then tried to leave without providing me an invoice which I need in case there is a problem with the plumbing connections for the new owners - these new owners are taking over the home in a couple days - so I ran out to his van to get the invoice.
2. Later that evening as I reflect on the entire situation and after speaking to my realtor - I call him back to notify him that he must take responsibility for the damage - He was so rude and condescending saying ""you think I was negligent?!"" ""No good deed goes unpunished"" - he felt like he was doing me a ""good deed"" by not charging me for the installs - when I attempted to ask him ""how would you feel if you just installed a $5,000 new wood floor to have someone damage it"" - he interrupted me, talked over me and tried to ""bully"" his way through the situation and ultimately hung up on me. .
3. Later, after realizing his error, rather than picking up the phone and calling me like a gentleman and a professional should, he texted me telling me he would pay the difference of the cost of the repair and his fee which was now $180 (fine) which was to install a dishwasher and a refrigerator.
I've decided not to send Gary a bill for the damaged floor - the estimate is $540 (way more than the $180 install charge) - while the ""gouges"" are obvious I decided not to send him a bill as the new owners waived their final walk through.
Be careful with this company - the true measure of great contractors is how they handle problems when they arise - anyone can be ""decent"" in a ""smooth"" transaction.

Gary service was great! He installed a high quality water heater at a great price. He arrived on time, worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. He was referred to me by another plumber so I felt confident using his service. He has great ratings on Angie's list, too. I will definitely call him again if I need any other plumbing work and will be referring him to my friends and neighbors.

Just a quick note to let you all know that Gary from Phillips Plumbing did a repair on my hydronic heating system on Friday. He showed up on time. He diagnosed the problem quickly. He made the repair and charged me a fair price. What more could you ask for?
I very rarely do these reviews but I think Gary should be recognized for his honest work and fair prices!
Thanks again Gary!
