Philco Plumbing was a lifesaver!
My water heater went out and Phil came to the rescue!
He gave honest communication, was fast, and went out of his way to help us out.

We were without hot water for 3 days getting bids from 2 other companies that were giving us price hikes and quotes for more work than we actually needed, basically trying to take advantage of the situation because people get desperate when there is no hot water.

Phil was recommended to me by the American Pro Water Heating Company. I spoke with him and told him the manufacturer was shipping us new parts that were under warranty and that we had been without hot water since Sunday. He offered to come the next day, fix the water heater with the parts from his stock and have us contact him when the manufacturer's parts arrived so we could give them to him in return. This fixed the situation, saved us money, and got the hot water back on days sooner.

It is hard to find good people who don't try to take advantage of a bad situation, I got really lucky with Phil. He was the real deal!!!!

Great job on a recent repair to my water heater. Another plumber said I'd have to replace it, but Philco just changed the valve for a few hundred.

Great service by Phil and his team! Totally recommend their service. Quick quote, best professional suggestions and fast service. We had to change all our old shut-off valves in the condo and they did it so clean and with no headache! Definitely will be using them for future work

This is the guy you want. You can read a lot of other reviews and guess if someone else will do the job or you can call Philco and get what you had hoped for. My water heater went bad, he came out, diagnosed the problem, fixed it lickty-split, gave me some valuable advice about flushing it every year and just like that my days of heating water on the stove for a sponge bath or going to the gym for a shower became just a memory.
Seriously, this is a no-brainer. Go with the guy who's going to get it done, or else you are just rolling the dice. Life is too short to go without plumbing.

Same day Water Heater repair. They had the parts on the truck. Efrem came out on time. Replaced the Burner assembly. I watched. He did quick work and cleaned up afterwards. Can't ask for more than that. Thank You Guys!

Customer Beware-Must Read!
Do Not hire Philco Plumbing!!
1. Price increases $300 after In-Person estimate because the limited space to install water heater. Phil, the owner was in the condo when the initial estimate was given but increased the final price afterwards because we were in need to replace the new water heater! What a Terrible Person to take advantage of customer! Evil Minded!
2. After installation, we found out that the water heater was completely against the wall & blocked the ""Handle of Main Valve"" to shut off water into the condo. I called Phil to move the water heater away from wall 1/2 inch space so we can reach the handle. Phil asked for additional $175 to move the water heater!! This should be ""After Service Guarantee"" because the installer failed to leave space between water heater & handle of main valve. In fact, Phil blamed the design of the condo & refused to provide service warrantee! Phil just walked away from the condo with very rude & mean attitude that I've never seen with any service company!!
This review meant to share our terrible experiences with Philco Plumbing so be aware!!

Great Service.
Phil, answered his phone. Took my information. Made and appointment.
Showed up on time. Went straight to work. Removed and replaced the Water heater, heating unit and thermostat in less than 30 minutes. Filled out the paper work. I signed and he was on his way.
Straight forward, hard working guy.
Very pleased and I would call him again.

I was referred to them by the warranty company for my water heater that I purchased from Lowes. I called on Thursday and received no call back for a few hours. I called back and spoke to a helpful receptionist who assured me that the plumber had all my information and would contact me to set up a time to see me that day. This was the last I heard from them until 4 days later when the plumber texted me to ask if I ever got service for my water heater. I would definitely NOT call them again. After the first day I realized they weren't going to call back so I just replaced the heater myself.

Worst plumbing company
Phil is the rudest person I met he is not a friendly person and charges a lot I will stay away from this guy. Try another plumbing company don't know how he is in business. Wish I didn't have to give him a star

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but sometimes you need to warn people. My father's water heater burner broke, so he called local plumbers to get a replacement part. When he called Philco, the plumber immediately started suggesting a ton of unnecessary labor and parts. Thankfully we knew none of it was needed, so we declined it all, and just said we needed the burner. Philco said he would sell us the burner, and told us to meet at his house.

My father goes there, knocks on the door, and no one answers. He calls, and the plumber does not answer. He waited an hour, and then gave up and went home.

What a complete waste of time. Having a broken water heater sucks, but it's even worse to get jerked around and waste time when someone else could actually be helping you. We will never call Philco plumbing for any future work.
