We had a leak in our bathroom sink that sprung right on Christmas Day. JR's responded that day with a Monday morning window of time for an appointment. Julio was polite, efficient, and got the leak all fixed, plus he explained what caused it. Unlike the last plumber who serviced my home a few years ago, Julio cleaned up all of the debris left from his work so my bathroom looked the way he found it. Paying J&R electronically was convenient. I hope not to need more work anytime soon, but I'll use them when the next issue springs up!

These guys are great. They have a very professional operation - you call them, talk to someone (or leave a message and they call back promptly), tell them your issue, set up an appointment window, and they show up when they say they will without having to chase them down like you might find with other contractors.

Can't comment on pricing since I didn't bother to shop around based on all the rave 5 star reviews these guys have and I'm the type that is willing to pay a little extra for peace of mind rather than risk quality to save a few bucks. The price I was charged for the job was in the ballpark of what I was expecting to pay and it seemed reasonable enough. No complaints.

Go with Philadelphia Plumbing Services if you have a plumbing issue and just want the damn thing fixed without having to chase anyone down.

The Philadelphia Plumbing Services are the best! Julio and his assistant were excellent in my home to repair my heater. The bonus to their services was they found a gas leak in my home. Julio's Keen sense of smell was alerted and gas company was called. This averted a major problem in my home! Julio and his assistant were very safety conscious, courteous and most importantly very professional! His services were fairly priced. I highly recommend this plumbing contractor.

We had a leak from our hot water heater and needed to replace it. This company came out the day after we requested a quote, so service was fast. In terms of price, they were in the same range as most other quotes we got. The payment for services can be done electronically or over the phone, which is very convenient.

The two gentlemen who did the job were very professional, polite and communicative. They brought their own supplies in terms of getting up any water that spilled during maintenance and they left the area clean & dry. They also put down a cloth tarp in our living room so they wouldn't get the floor dirty or damage it while moving the equipment. They answered all of our questions about equipment warranty.

We are very glad we chose this company. Would highly recommend.

Really good experience with Mary. I sent a message to her a few days in after a notice of defect, and she responded and got to work right away on it. I had an issue with the fresh air inlet and curb trap outside my house sometime during February, and ended up having to do it over AGAIN in July thanks to the incompetence of a different plumber I hired way back. Philadelphia Plumbing Services was not only able to fix what the other plumbers neglected, but they were also very good with correspondence with me throughout. Mary always updated every step of the way, and I was never left in the dark about what permits/steps were next on the list. Thanks to her, my water is not going to be shut off, the work done is great, and I finally have some peace of mind. I would highly recommend.
