Recommended Customer Reviews
Tom C.We went with Phil Parkinson Plumbing to hook up our house to public water, and install a gas line hookup to the exterior of our house.
The quality of work and attention to detail was superb.
The pricing was fair and my wife and I had a trustworthy feeling when talking to and meeting with Phil.
His team was able to MINIMALLY excavate the yard and tunnel the pipe under the street to the water main, saving us a ton of time and money.
We would recommend him and his team to anyone for any job, big or small.
Very satisfied with the customer service and how the job was handled, as well as the honest pricing and craftsmanship of the work they did.
They even kept the house clean, which is big considering how dirty the job was in 95 degree heat.
Highly recommend.
Phil and his team provided awesome quick service, very friendly and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend and I will by using their services again in the future.
Richard P.These people aren't the original Gottel plumbers asnear as I can tell.
Seems they want to make a quick buck. The plumber charged me 120 bucks to fix leaky shower pipe for hot water but never checked cold water pipe. The he wanted another 150 to fix it. When I asked Phil for a break he ignored me.
Had a DIY situation where I tried to change my shower stems due to a leak coming from my tub spout, what I ended up doing was causing a leak coming from the access panel in the adjacent room every time I turned the shower on. I asked a around for a reliable plumber and no luck. I then thought of Yelp and found Phil's plumbing and after reading their reviews I decided to call them and spoke to Phil, set up an appointment and let me tell you they lived up to their reviews...friendly, professional, respectful, fair price! Simply put I would not hesitate to call them again.
This company is reliable and does a great job. The first time I used them, it turned out the problem was very simple. Phil then asked if he could in any other way, and ended up doing an unrelated handy man project, I was having difficulty at no additional charge.
I have used Phil's company now 3 times altogether. Service has been consistently excellent.
Amy D.I can't recommend Phil Parkinson and his plumbing services highly enough. I have used his services multiple times. He performs plumbing services quickly and expertly, as one would hope he would. More than that, he answers phone calls and texts promptly, even late at night; he cleans up after the work he does; he goes about his work efficiently and in a completely professional manner. He also charges very reasonably. Late last night (July 2018), my kitchen sink suddenly started leaking into the cabinet below, soaking everything. It wasn't an emergency because the leak stopped when the water was turned off. Iontacted Phil around 11 p.m. He responded immediately and promised to come by the next morning. He arrived promptly, determined the problem was caused by a loose valve, which he tightened, and refused to take any payment at all for making the trip. Rare to find anyone willing to do that. I recommend him highly.
We contacted another plumber first who was recommended by a friend. He was not in the immediate area and kept putting us off, apparently because he had more lucrative work. After over a week of waiting, we decided to try Lou Gottel Plumbing which is in Morrisville. It took a couple of days to make a connection. Turns out Lou is retiring and turning the business over to some other plumbers. We talked to them on a holiday Monday morning and they said they'd be over between noon and 2, after finishing another job. They called before noon to say they were on their way and showed up pronto. Phil Parkinson was the lead plumber. They were courteous, efficient, brought the materials they needed (except for some risers that they thought should be replaced, which they went out and bought at the local hardware store--a 15 minute round trip). They charged $25 less than the quote from the first plumber. Whole job took about an hour. Overall, an excellent experience. Will definitely call them again if we need work.
R M.It's so nice to work with an honest tradesman. I can truly say that if Phil says this is what you need, then it is what you need, no more, no less. Maintaining a house is a long-term effort and really does require a crew of tradesmen you can trust. Phil is my go-to plumber for the long-term.
Phil is a terrific plumber. He's punctual, honest and clearly takes pride in his work. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again and would recommend him to anyone looking for a plumber.
Lou was recommended by any Uncle of mine from a guy my uncle worked with. I was so happy to get a plumber who knows what he is doing and has good reasonable rates. Our house is old so we have had more then one opportunity to use him in the 10+ years we've lived here and have never been dissatisfied.
