I called PHI plumbing about 2pm, and Don answered. He was already on a job but he listened to me as I described my problem. He asked some questions to get a better feel for the work. Don said he would finish his job and get to my place, but could be 6 to 7 pm. I said that's still good because I can't turn my water on due to a faucet that can't be stopped. Don did text me later just before 7pm and was at my place by 7:20pm. Don was done with the repair in less then an hour. He told me the cost upfront and I was good with it. Don also gave me a estimate on another plumbing job I will have done in the future. Thanks Don.
By the way another plumber( in Thornton) that I called before Don said it would be a day or two before they could schedule me a plumber.

Don was great to work with. Friendly and informatitive on my initial call to him. He showed up on time, explained the problem, and the process on what needed to be done to replace the water heater as well as informing me it was still under warrenty, he spoke to the manafacturer and in a few short sentences I was issued a credit for a new water heater. All the work was done in one day, the day I called. Very satisfied.

Pros: Very quick to respond, and was out the very next day after a late afternoon call. His work was pretty good too despite our new house having a unique situation with the bathroom. Long story short, it was a flip with questionable choices. He was also polite and courteous for the most part.

Cons: Definitely overpriced. $425 to pick up and put in a new faucet and drain with caulking around the vessel sink with $25 up charge for his ""inconvenience"" at the store. He apparently struggled to find the faucet at Lowe's, so I had to pay extra for that....

Take away: PHI was pretty average I'd say. Nothing too bad really, nothing amazing either and for the premium price I definitely didn't get a premium service. At least not in my opinion. Dealt with far better plumbers in our old area of Broomfield that had a more reasonable price for more extensive work. If another plumbing need arises, I will probably shop around, PHI doesn't deserve repeated business.

Had a late Saturday night leaking water heater, and called PHI early in the morning on Sunday. He helped me decide what I wanted installed, and gave me an accurate estimate over the phone. By Noon we had a new water heater installed at a fair price.

Don was great. Called him at 830 in the morning to change a water heater a few weeks back. Was at my house by 10 and was done by noon. Very reliable and efficient! Definitely recommend!

Came home to water in the basement ceiling and called PHI. They were here in less than an hour and had the problem diagnosed and fixed in less than two hours. This was much better service than from one of the big companies. I will definitely use PHI again. Friendly, efficient and professional.

Had a plumbing problem I could not fix. PHI came out the same day and had it fixed in 2 hours. The repair was good.

WARNING--Get an estimate!!!! Don't assume current hourly plumber rates apply with PHI. I paid $200.00 an hour for my repair. This was not an emergency rate/job.

I needed my water heater replaced ASAP. After receiving a highly inflated estimate from one company, I turned to yelp. PHI Plumbing had amazing reviews with many people praising Don. I gave him a call, and he was out within a couple of hours to provide an very fair estimate. My water heater was installed the next day. Don is professional, reliable and honest. He completed the work quickly. I'm happy to know I have someone to call for future plumbing needs!
