Do not use these scam artists.
I had a pump go on a downstairs bathroom that lasted over 15 years.
In Dec of 2019, the pump goes and these yahoos replaced it...lasted 10 months.
When I call them I never mention anything about a warranty, but they inform me that there is no warranty or guarantee on their work, so they wont even go to look at it to see what's wrong. They could have charged me again, i just wanted it fixed.
I'm so glad they didn't, because I had a reputable company fix it and it was done properly with better workmanship. Do not deal with these scammers.

Wonderful company! I called them this morning and had someone come out and replace my leaking garbage disposal within a few hours. Everyone I spoke to and interacted with were fantastic, responsive, prompt and really friendly. Showed me how to continue maintenance on my own in the future which is really helpful as a new homeowner. They will be my first call if I have anymore issues!!

I can't say enough good things about this Company. We recently had our water tank go and our boiler was on its last leg. We just recently had a baby and came home from the hospital with all this happening. Not only did Tina squeeze us in asap but James was such a pleasure and blessing to work with. He sat with me for over an hour explaining the pros and cons of different options to consider and what would save us the most long term. He may have made more money in the long run if he just replaced my water tank and waited for the boiler to go; Instead he explained the benefits of doing a combination unit. He also came back the following day to meet with my husband, explaining the same pros and cons. The job was to supposed to take 3 days but he stayed until 10pm to get the job done in 2 and to make sure we had heat and hot water with the baby. Thanks again!!

We had a terrible experience with another plumbing company. We decided to call a local company and hoped for the best. We called PHD Plumbing on Friday and they were at our home by Monday morning. The receptionist and the men that did the work were on top of it. Quick, great customer service and reasonable prices. Highly recommend! They replaced our tankless water heater and it's working great!

I've used PHD for the following:

* Dishwasher install (and removal)
* Estimate on fixing pipes in basement
* Toilet install (and removal)
* Boiler install (and removal)

The first three jobs were very standard. PHD came in and did the job at the price they quoted me, it was good work and I'd do it the same way again.

The last of these jobs was an emergency install. On Friday night our boiler started hemorrhaging water and we had to shut off. I called PHD and received a response within an hour from Tina (at around 8:30PM). I sent pictures of the damage, she spoke to the guys, and they came to the conclusion it needed to be replaced. They came on Sunday to review the damage and size up the space and came to the same conclusion. On Monday they ordered and received a replacement to my house, and worked until 8PM, and on Tuesday they completed the job. They stuck to their estimate despite the additional working hours on Tuesday, and cut new pipe to balance the boiler. The new boiler is much more efficient, both because it's new and a better boiler, but also because of this additional work. We no longer hear tremendous banging in our pipes, and because the system is that much more efficient we had to decrease the heat to the first floor.

We couldn't ask for a better company to take care of all of our plumbing needs. James and Josh came to install a simple water spigot in our back yard and we were so pleased with the work and the price, we ended up converting our old oil heating system to a new gas system. All of the employees of PHD are great!! Specifically Tina in the office and of course James and Josh. My husband and I have experienced some really horrible contractors who have tried to overcharge for simple jobs. Not these guys, the prices are fair and if there's any unforeseen issues they do their very best to work it out so everyone is happy. I can't say enough good things about this company. We will never use anyone else for our plumbing or heating needs. I recommend that anyone reading this to give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

They did fix the issue, yet charged an excessive amount for a 5 minute job. Two people showed up, one guy did the work, the other wandered around the house, he eventually wandered out in the driveway smoking a cigarette. If two people show up to do a job that I am paying for, I expect tools in both peoples hands.

Very responsive, polite and work well done. I checked three or four contractors for my kitchen remodel last year, and PHD was most responsive and reasonably priced. And they flexed their schedule easily when my own schedule changed. Arrived on time later to meet the town inspector. Highly recommended.

have used phd three times and it was five stars everytime. they do what ever they can to get you service as soon as possible. the techs are personable and explain the problem and how to fix them. I would recomend to anyone to use PHD. you start with tina who doesnt make you feel like you are bothering her, she understands you have a problem and wants to help. have had two techs on service calls Rob, and James both were great. again five stars

Honestly yelpers... The best company that ever came to my home and fixed the problem that I have been dealing with for the past five years,yes,five years. I've had numerous heating companies come out to fix my boiler and in total have spent 7,800.00 dollars and nothing has worked. I went on Yelp Sunday and put out a search request for my ongoing boiler problem. I was quoted from prices from 400/to 1900 dollars. I'm not afraid to pay money for good work but in the he past 5 years I have been taken to the cleaners by dishonest companies. Lies and deception is what I have been going through as well as price gauging.

Finally on Sunday the owner of this company replied to my request to once again venture into fixing my ongoing boiler problem. I was getting no heat on third floor and minimal on second floor. The worker showed up today at 9 am as promised. The owner gave me a honest fair quote on the work. I again had to trust someone to do the right thing. Well today the heater technician showed up on time and after a few exchanges of what I have been going through and his gathering of my problems and concerns did not waste time and went right to work !

At approx. 1130 ish the technician was done and he hit the electrical switch and turned my boiler on. He professionally without rushing got my boiler back up and running again. It turns out it was the circulator pump in the rear of the boiler. Yes it was a pain in the ass for this technician to get at but he did not complain once. He came in,went to work and did the job like a true professional.

I was told by 4 other so called reputable boiler companies that I needed 2000 dollars to repair what was needed to get my boiler up and running. Those quotes where all lies and fabrication. All I needed was a 200 dollar circulator pump. I have been told by numerous other companies that that is what I needed but after they saw what a pain in the he ass it would be to get at and change out the pump they all ran the other way and made me do work I didn't need. I have 7800 dollars in receipts that I paid for work that was done and didn't need. This company I hired and paid in full today is the company you need to call. They are up front and honest and come to your house on time and ready to work !

I can't say enough about the owner and his technician he sent to my house ! Totally awesome and professional !
5 years of basically no heat in my bedrooms because of companies lieing and doing work that shouldn't be done.

If you have boiler issues or any other issues that fall under what type of work his company does for a profession,give them a call. I don't do long reviews like this to often but they deserve every bit of this review because they deserve to be called upon when having a boiler issues. They deserve the work and not the companies that try to do work that doesn't need to be done. Don't settle for second best when it comes to your heating issues. Call this company who I can vouche for who does great work !

I can't honestly thank them Enough. The technician now a worker for this company went to Whittier High school in Haverhill mass. I will say that this past student learned a hell of a lot from this technical school. They to should be proud. They taught a young man how to do a professional job and did right the first time !

A plus for that technician and A plus for this company that I hired ! Thank you Gentleman ! For a job well done ! You don't know how much I appreciate it !
