We've used Pham's Pham Plumbing a few times and always liked his work. He was reasonable and got the job done, which is why we kept calling him. But after this last experience, we won't be using him again.

Yesterday, our bathroom was clogged, water from the sink was backing up into the bathtub. Since we were returning customers, we called Pham, and he showed up in about 25 minutes. He took a look and said hydro jetting the sewer should fix the problem.

After hydro jetting, the clog was still there. Then he suggested snaking it for another $150 (discounted from $250), and we agreed, hoping that would work. But it didn't.

At that point, he said we could try hydro jetting from the roof for $600, but he couldn't guarantee it would fix anything. The other option? Replacing the pipes for $2,500. I asked if the money we had already spent could go toward that, but he said no.

I told him I wasn't trying to throw money at something that might not work, especially since I just lost my job. Instead of understanding, he started talking about how his costs have gone up too, and how at the end of the day, it's business. In the end, I paid $725 for hydro jetting. Later, I called around and found out the usual price for that is $450-$600, so I definitely overpaid, even as a loyal customer.

The next morning, I called another plumber. He checked the pipes, went into the crawl space, and told us our pipes were actually brand new. The only issue was a big clog in the pipe underneath. He removed a section, snaked it, and the problem was completely fixed for just $150.

Honestly, we feel ripped off. Instead of actually diagnosing the issue, Pham kept throwing expensive solutions at us that didn't work. It felt like we were being taken advantage of, and unfortunately, we won't be calling him again.

Pham and his team were amazing!! I called him on an emergency base, he came out that same day - Diagnosed and scheduled me in quickly !! He fixed my problem and was extremely fair in pricing !!! My water pipes had several different leaks. The water pipes are located under my house. He went in - under pools of water may I add and changed out everything that needed to be fixed.
I found myself a new plumber !! I definitely recommend!! I'm definitely a completely happy customer!!!

He will give you his opinion on what he feels is the best course of action, and give you options to proceed if there are any.

I highly recommend Pham's Plumbing. I contracted Tung to fix my leaky pipe and he responded it right away. His work quality is superb ! He also came to troubleshoot an unrelated issue with the electric problem that we had. He was kind enough to show me what he was doing to troubleshoot, and identified the problem quickly. Amazing!
