Two days ago (Tuesday morning) my wife contacted PG Plumbing & Drain about a major clog. She explained that we had no functioning toilets or showers because the toilets were backing up and sewage water was draining into our bathtubs. Matt told her he would be able to come out the next day to check it out. The next day (Wednesday), she did not hear from him and had to reach out herself, and when he finally got back to her, he said he would ""try to squeeze her in"" before the end of the day.
Here's my problem: had he used that language (""squeeze you in"") on Tuesday, we would have just called someone else who could fix the problem, which was VERY urgent, that same day. How can a family of four, with young kids, survive without working toilets or showers? At this point, we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait an extra day because we weren't sure another plumbing service could make it to our house any faster.
So, today comes around and he informs my wife, at 12:30 in the afternoon, that he ""probably can't make it today,"" and has the nerve to tell her that he could've come yesterday if she was home in the two hour window that she had to take our soon to a doctor's appointment. Matt gave us the run around for two days when we could have called someone else, and then blamed my wife for not being available at a specific time as the reason he couldn't make it out. Had he been up front and honest about his schedule from the very beginning, we could have saved ourselves two and a half days of stress, and waiting to hear from him.
So my wife finally gave up and called Mr. Rooter, who assured us that he will be at our house before 5:00 p.m., and even gave us a quote. What really irks me is that Matt knew, for a fact, that we did not have a functioning toilet or shower, and still jerked us around on a string and left us hanging. We'll look elsewhere for our plumbing needs in the future.

We contacted the plumber regarding a leak. He came out the first time
w/o finding the problem. He said the charge would $155 for the service call.
My husband gave him his credit card and Matt said his phone didn't connect and the charge didn't go through. He said his office would call us but they didn't. Matt came out a second time. He said the total fee would now be $225 because he cleared a drain and the first call hadn't been paid. My husband located and fixed the leak. I wrote a check for $225 because we were told no charges went through on our credit card. Much to our surprise, the credit card had been charged $155, We have now over paid by $155. We called Matt and requested a refund. No response. I called again ... we're waiting for a response. Looks like we have to work it out with the credit card company or file a small claim in court if we don't hear back from his office in a day or two.
This is a very sloppy business operation. To be for told is to be for warned.

kept postponing and i had to call him just to find out he had another excuse. left the job unfinished and very messy.

Over priced for the service and does not keep appointments. This is the second time I have utilized their service and they have blown off appointments previously made, leaving me waiting for someone to show up not hours but days. Sad part is we discussed over the phone what I needed accomplished and he did not show up prepared for the work.

This is Matt Smith from PG Plumbing and Drain. He brought water back to our house! We forgot to let the faucets drip, pipes froze, pressure regulator loudly popped off Sunday night. Matt had a bunch of calls when we called him Monday morning. He said ""I'll be there this evening if I can, if not first thing Tuesday morning."" And first thing this morning, he was here! He is so friendly, knowledgeable, and the cost was perfectly reasonable. We would not hesitate to call PG Plumbing and Drain again and enthusiastically recommend them!

I called PG Plumbing and Drain this morning when I was informed that there was a leak in my pipes by the Prairie Grove Water Department. He was at my
house within an hour. He winterized my pipes, like I asked him to last minute, and found the leak and fixed it. He also said that he would come by the next week and check it to make sure everything was okay. He was very relaxed and professional, was extremely polite and the invoice that he gave me at the end was very reasonable for everything happening so fast this morning. I highly recommend his services for anyone else who needs help in the issue in a pinch! Thank you again for all of your help!

He was polite but the service was very poor. I had a hard date I was moving out of my house and made it clear needed the service done before then. He asked me to move my appointment several times and I was flexible. It finally got to the last day before my move out when he promised he be able to make it lo and behold and he texted me with a family emergency asking to reschedule again. After asking several times before I finally accepted he strining me along.
2 Stars because he was polite. Only book of you of you have time to reschedule endlessly.

Very quick to respond! Job well done of installing gas line for stove. Even cleaned up mess. Will use again and recommend to others.

Matt at PG Plumbing and Drain does great work. We found out we have a leak in our crawlspace so I reached out to Matt. He was prompt to respond and came out when it was convenient for us. Matt and his crew did a great job of fixing the initial problem and a few other issues we had as well. PG Plumbing and Drain will be our go to from now on!
